An appliance drain pan comprises a floor and an upturned rim around an outer edge of the floor. The floor has a first side portion, a second side portion opposite and spaced apart from the first side portion, and a central portion therebetween. A first plurality of raised projections protrudes upward from the first side portion of the floor. A second plurality of raised projections protrudes upward from the second side portion of the floor. Each projection of the first and second plurality of raised projections has a top surface that is substantially parallel to the floor.

Undercounter appliance drain pan

An appliance drain pan comprises a continuous upturned rim around an outer edge of the drain pan, the rim having a top edge; horizontal left and right side support ledges enclosed by the rim; and a central depression between the horizontal left and right side support ledges. The central depression is deeper than side support ledges relative to the top edge of the rim. Aspects of the invention provide a surf pool including a contiguous artificial reef of any shape or size. The continuous artificial shaped reef can include an inclined slope traversing the reef from the tip of the first artificial reef sub section to the open end of the second artificial reef sub section. The definition for the purpose of this invention an artificial contiguous reef, is a reef that is angled, contoured and shaped to the bottom of the surf pool. The meaning of pool in the embodiment is any artificially created body of water such as a pool, lake or lagoon which is constructed for the purpose of recreational surfing.

The central depression is deeper than the rear, front, and side support ledges relative to a top edge of the rim. An apparatus for creating a surfing wave in a body of water. An apparatus for the purpose of efficiently producing a variety of surfing waves having a repetition rate and size suitable for surfing. The waves are generated using a controlled up and down motion of mechanical plungers in a way that allows the control of the shape and therefore surf characteristics of the wave. A linear array of plungers is used so that they interact in different ways with bathometry of the body of water and can be changed to further alter the surfing characteristics of the waves. The motion of the individual plungers can be adjusted so that effects of different wave travel distance to the bathometry can be compensated for consistent wave characteristics.
