A data processing system includes a processor and associated memory implementing an enterprise data management (EDM) module configured to interact with an enterprise management system. A storage device coupled to the processor, implements an enterprise data management (EDM) database, which stores priority rules used to determine priority scores associated with a plurality of different entities associated with entity records. A communications interface coupled to the processor, transmits the priority rules, to an enterprise management system, and receives priority scores of individual entities, determined based on the priority rules, from the enterprise management system. The priority scores of the individual entities are stored in the EDM database in association with the priority rules, and the EDM module matches the entity records to entities based, at least in part, on the priority scores of the individual entities.

Each record can then be assigned with a parent enterprise advertiser. A method for use in a media distribution system includes receiving media content at an enterprise hub from a plurality of media outlets via a communication network. The method continues by assigning a unique identifier to the media content. The method continues by receiving at the enterprise hub, from the plurality of media outlets via a communication network, a record of broadcast of the media content on a continuous ticker feed and analyzing the continuous ticker feed to detect the unique identifier. The method continues by automatically verifying if the media content broadcast as scheduled and classifying the media content broadcast. The method continues by generating and transmitting to at least a provider of the media content, from the plurality of media outlets, a displayable report of the classification of the media content broadcast.

A management and delivery method and system for a distributed marketing network. Access to one or more network service gateways associated with a distributed marketing network can be authorized, if particular criteria are satisfied. A business transaction may be coordinated with the distributed marketing network through network service gateways in a near real time fashion and without manual intervention, in response to authorizing the access to the network service gateways. The network service gateways may include a partner interface, a centralized hub that communicates with the partner interfaces, and/or a local market integrated service layer that communicates with the centralized hub and the partner interface. The distributed marketing network may be, for example, a network of radio stations.

A distributed media outlet can include both a traffic and billing system, and a media delivery system that employ separate broadcast logs, or playlists. Such an optimization mechanism can interactively manage and report records at the enterprise level in a simple and efficient manner.

A matching process can then be performed to accurately match the active entity and the unmatched entities with respect to a parent enterprise entity. The unmatched entity can be put on hold if additional information is required for performing a right match after assigning the parent enterprise entity. A note can also be added in order to place the unmatched entity on hold. Such an optimization mechanism can interactively manage and report records at the enterprise level in a simple and efficient manner.
