A mining machine includes a boom, a handle coupled to the boom, a dipper coupled to the handle, and a dipper door pivotally coupled to the dipper. The mining shovel also includes a dipper door trip assembly including a trip motor coupled to the boom, a trip drum coupled to the handle, a linkage assembly coupled to the dipper door, a first actuation element extending directly from the trip motor to the trip drum, and a second actuation element extending directly from the trip drum to the linkage assembly.

A mining machine includes a frame having a guide rail, the guide rail having a central portion. The mining machine also includes a shoe having a recessed area that defines a roller path, the shoe further having a drive lug, wherein the central portion of the guide rail is configured to be disposed within the recessed area. The mining machine also includes a cutting tool coupled to the frame and positioned such that the cutting tool is configured to abrasively remove material from the drive lug as the drive lug passes by the cutting tool.

A mining machine assembly includes a dipper having a main body, the main body having a front side, a back side, a bottom side, and a top side. A ground engagement portion extends from the front side, the ground engagement portion including digging teeth. The mining machine assembly also includes a hoist rope attachment assembly coupled to the dipper. The hoist rope attachment assembly is configured to directly couple a hoist rope to the dipper. The hoist rope attachment assembly includes a cam having a first portion extending from the top side of the main body of the dipper, and a second portion that extends from the first portion and away from the main body and digging teeth.

An equalizer for a mining machine includes an equalizer main body, an internal chamber defined by the main body configured to retain lubrication, and a bushing disposed within the internal chamber. The bushing includes an opening. The equalizer further includes a pin disposed partially in the internal chamber and extending through the opening.

A dipper door trip assembly includes a dipper, a dipper door pivotally coupled to the dipper, a linkage assembly including a sliding latch bar disposed at least partially in the dipper door, and a latch keeper coupled to the dipper. The latch keeper includes a roller that engages and disengages the latch bar.

An equalizer assembly for a mining machine includes a single piece cast equalizer having a first end and a second, opposite end. The assembly also includes a first end cap configured to be coupled to a dipper of the mining machine, the first end cap including a first bushing configured to receive the first end of the equalizer. The assembly also includes a second end cap configured to be coupled to the dipper of the mining machine, the second end cap including a second bushing configured to receive the second end of the equalizer.

A dipper for a mining shovel includes a back wall, a first side wall extending from the back wall, a second side wall extending from the back wall, a front wall disposed opposite the back wall and extending between the first and second side walls, and a dipper door pivotally coupled to a bottom end of the dipper. The dipper door is movable between a latched and an unlatched position relative to the dipper. The dipper door is angled relative to the front wall at an acute angle when the dipper door is in the latched position.

A shovel includes a dipper, a hoist rope supporting the dipper, and a bail assembly. The bail assembly includes a bail configured to be coupled to the dipper and an equalizer including a mounting block configured to receive a portion of the hoist rope. The bail is pivotable about a bail axis and defines a first side. The equalizer is pivotably coupled to the bail. The equalizer is pivotable about an equalizer axis that is parallel to the first side of the bail and is offset from the first side.

A cartridge includes a body, an aperture extending through the body sized to receive a pivot pin, and a spherical bushing disposed within the body. The cartridge also includes a first internal seal disposed axially on one side of the bushing and a second internal seal disposed axially on an opposite side of the bushing. The cartridge also includes an end cap disposed at least partially within the aperture that abuts the bushing and prevents the bushing from moving axially in a first direction within the aperture.

A dipper assembly includes a body defining an outer surface and an opening, a door pivotably coupled to the body, and a latch mechanism releasably securing the door relative to the body. The door is pivotable between a closed position in which the door is positioned adjacent the opening and an open position in which the door is positioned away from the opening. The latch mechanism includes a latchkeeper and a latch member engaging the latchkeeper. The latch member is coupled to one of the body and the door and the latchkeeper is coupled to the other of the body and the door. The latchkeeper includes an end surface and a stop member coupled to the end surface. The stop member engages the one of the body and the door when the door is in the closed position. The stop member is extendable relative to the end surface.

A dipper assembly for a mining shovel includes a dipper body, a dipper door pivotably coupled to the dipper body, an arm, a housing coupled to one of the body and the door, and a piston. The arm includes a first end pivotably coupled to the body and a second end pivotably coupled to the door. The movement of the door relative to the body drives the arm to pivot relative to the body. The housing includes an inlet in fluid communication with a fluid source, an outlet, and a cylinder partially defining a pump chamber in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet. The piston is movable within the cylinder and biased in a first direction. The pivoting movement of the arm causes the piston to move in a second direction opposite the first direction. The movement of the piston changes a volume of the pump chamber.
