The disclosure includes a system and method for communicating digital data from a mobile client device to a mobile system. The system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the system to: obtain journey context data that includes data describing a future journey; determine digital data to transmit to the mobile system based on the journey context data; detect a presence of the mobile system; verify that the digital data is valid for the mobile system based on the journey context data; and send the digital data to the mobile system responsive to detecting the presence of the mobile system and the digital data being valid for the mobile system.

The communication module receives data describing a set of traces for a group of vehicles associated with a group of users. The parking probability generator assigns the set of traces to one or more street segments based at least in part on street segment data describing the one or more street segments. The parking probability generator generates one or more parking probabilities for the one or more street segments based at least in part on one or more user densities in the one or more street segments.

Historic vehicle state information specifying a plurality of performance values associated with the plurality of subsystems of the vehicle at a plurality of time points, including a current time point is stored at the vehicle. Historic neighbor vehicle state information specifying a plurality of performance values associated with a plurality of subsystems of a vehicle at a plurality of time points, including a current time point is received from a neighbor vehicle proximate to the vehicle. A forward-looking model is generated based on vehicle state information. An performance value associated with a subsystem of the plurality of subsystems of the vehicle is determined based on the historic vehicle state information, the historic neighbor vehicle state information, and the forward-looking model. A recommendation to a driver of the vehicle is provided based on the optimized performance value.
