Methods and systems are provided to generate a base digital file for a garment and a custom digital file for the garment, which may be used in garment production. For example, a system may receive information providing various specifications for manufacturing a garment, generate a base digital file for the garment, receive a request to transform the garment from a first garment size to a second garment size, and then generate a custom digital file for the garment by applying custom user body measurements to the base digital file or by applying a grading scale.

Generating digital files for garment production

Methods and systems are provided to customize a base digital file for a garment according to a user's body measurements and generate a custom digital file for the garment, which may be used in garment production. For example, a system may receive a request to generate a custom-fit garment, customization options, and information regarding a customer's body measurements, retrieve a base digital file for the garment, identify points and edges in the base digital file of the garment, adjust the points and edges according to defined equations that take into account the user's body measurements, generate a custom digital file for the garment, and display a visual representation of the customized garment.

Custom digital files for garment production

A device can receive an identification of an environmental model associated with a user navigating a website and receive an identification of an item model associated with an item requested by the user to be shown in connection with the environmental model on a client device. The environmental model could be a body model of the user or of another force like wind. The item model models how the item would move in connection with the environmental model. The device identifies movement associated with the environmental model and generates, based on the environmental model and the item model, frames each having respective data of the item as it would move on the environmental model according to the movement to yield movement key attributes. The device transmits the movement key attributes to the client device for rendering using a client device rendering engine.

Techniques and systems are provided for facilitating secure pairing of a client device with a remote device using a inductive pickup coil in the client device and an intermediate hearing-aid-compatible (HAC) mobile device. Credentials stored in or accessible to the mobile device may be encoded in an magnetic HAC signal in the audio frequency spectrum and communicated to the client device through inductive coupling with the inductive pickup coil in the client device. The client device may then use the credentials to gain access to the remote device. In some implementations, the mobile device may cease broadcasting the magnetic signal upon receipt of an indication that the client device has gained access to the remote device.

The amount of power and processing capacity needed to process gesture input for a computing device is reduced by splitting the management of sensors, used to detect the input, among different processing components. A relatively high power processor system can monitor the sensors and determine the presence of gestures when the device is in an active state. When the device, or at least the processor system, enters a sleep mode, sensor management is transferred to a microcontroller connected to at least a portion of the sensors, such that the microcontroller can analyze the sensor data to determine the likelihood of a wake action being performed. In response to detecting a wake action, the microcontroller can contact a component such as a power management component to place the processor system in an active state, and enable the processor system to resume management of the sensors.

Gesture detection management for an electronic device

The present invention is addressed to a cradle for a musical instrument, which consists of a support having a figure-8 configuration including a pair of loops adapted to support the musical instrument without the use of any fastening device. The cradle also consists of a strap having a pair of ends, each of which is connected to a loop of the support. A buckle may be provided to adjust the length of the strap. In use, a musical instrument is positioned in the inventive cradle with the loops supporting the instrument. The strap is secured about a user so that the musical instrument is supported in a substantially horizontal position by the loops. Thereafter, the instrument is removed by lifted the instrument from the support.
