According to one embodiment described herein, the forces of a shrink film may be measured. The method of measuring the forces may include providing a shrink film processing unit and a testing vehicle moveable within the shrink film processing unit, positioning a shrink film around the testing vehicle, processing the wrapped testing vehicle by shrinking the shrink film around the testing vehicle as the testing vehicle moves through the shrink film processing unit, and measuring the forces applied by the shrink film on the testing vehicle with one or more force sensors at multiple separate sensor positions on the exterior of the testing vehicle during processing, after processing, or both.

Methods and systems for measuring the forces of a shrink film

The present disclosure provides a container and a process for producing the container. In an embodiment, the process includes placing a sleeve bag on valve assembly (SBoV) in a blow mold apparatus. The blow mold apparatus has two opposing and movable molds. The SBoV has a valve seat. The process includes extending a parison of flowable polymeric material around the SBoV and between the opposing molds. The process includes moving the opposing molds to a closed position and pressing an upstream portion of the parison against the valve seat. The process includes blow molding a downstream portion of the parison into a container-shape within the closed mold. The process includes forming a container with the valve seat melt bonded to a neck portion of the container.

The present disclosure provides a flexible container. In an embodiment, the flexible container includes (A) four panels, each panel formed from a flexible multilayer film. The flexible multilayer film is composed of one or more polymeric materials. The four panels form (i) a body, and (ii) a neck. The flexible container includes (B) a fitment. The fitment includes a top portion and a base. The base is composed of a polymeric material. The base is sealed in the neck. The flexible container includes (C) a sleeve and bag-on-valve assembly, or SBoV. The SBoV includes a valve seat, a bladder, and an elastic sleeve. (D) The bladder and the elastic sleeve are inserted through the fitment and are located in the body. (E) The valve seat is attached to the fitment.

In an embodiment, the dispenser for pressurized material includes a container half having an exposed edge and a closure member at the exposed edge. The container half has a cup half in an interior top portion. The dispenser includes a reciprocal container half having a reciprocal exposed edge and a reciprocal closure member at the reciprocal exposed edge. The reciprocal container half has a reciprocal cup half in an interior top portion. The closure member and the reciprocal closure member matingly engage along the exposed edges to attach the container half to the reciprocal container half and form a container. The dispenser includes a sleeve bag on valve (SBoV) assembly in an interior of the container. The SBoV assembly includes a valve seat. The cup and the reciprocal cup support the valve seat to secure the SBoV assembly in the container.

The multilayer films are sealed along a common peripheral edge. The flexible container includes a fitment. The fitment comprises a base. The base comprises a polymeric blend of from 60 wt % to 90 wt % ethylene/&#x3b1;-olefin multi-block copolymer and from 40 wt % to 10 wt % high density polyethylene (HDPE). The flexible container includes a fitment seal comprising the base located between the multilayer films. The base is sealed to each multilayer film at a portion of the common peripheral edge.

The front surface defines an x-axis, X. An uncured acoustic absorbing member () for cavity sealing comprises a thermally inert carrier () and a thermally expandable material () applied to the carrier. The carrier () contains openings () which become covered when the thermally expandable material is expanded to seal the cavity. The acoustic absorbing members () are particularly useful for sealing automotive cavities to provide acoustical abatement and to prevent the entry of fluids into the cavity.

An uncured acoustic absorbing member for cavity sealing comprises a thermally inert carrier () and a thermally expandable material () applied to the carrier (). The carrier () contains openings () which become covered when the thermally expandable material () is expanded to seal the cavity. The thermally expandable material () may be in the form of substantially discontinuous segments () having an area in the range of 0.25 to 400 mm. The substantially discontinuous segments () provide a highly uniform expansion of the material when it is thermally expanded. The acoustic absorbing members are particularly useful for sealing automotive cavities to provide acoustical abatement and to prevent the entry of fluids into the cavity.
