A bone reamer includes a shaft having a first and a second end. The second end is configured to connect to a rotating power source. A head of the reamer includes a rear face connected to the first end of the shaft, a cutting face on an opposing side of the head relative to the rear face, and a perimeter portion having an inner perimeter diameter and an outer perimeter diameter. The outer perimeter diameter defines outer boundaries of the rear face and the cutting face. A blade member of the reamer is disposed upon the cutting face and extends at least across the inner perimeter diameter of the perimeter portion. A center drill bit is disposed on the cutting face. The drill bit and cutting blade are concentric about a center axis of the reamer.

An orthopedic milling burr includes a hub, wherein the burr is configured for rotation about an axis of the hub, the hub including: a bore adapted to receive an orthopedic guide pin, wherein the bore is centered on the axis of the hub and passes axially through the hub; a transverse slot that extends axially through the hub's length connecting a proximal end of the hub to a distal end of the hub and providing an opening to the bore; a milling body that extends transversely from the hub and consists of a crown portion spaced radially from the hub and connected to the hub by one or more radial lugs; and a counterweight portion that extends transversely from the hub and arranged diametrically opposite the crown portion.

An orthopedic milling machine includes an orthopedic guide pin including a bone engaging end and a burr including a hub, the burr being configured for rotation about an axis of the hub, the hub including a bore adapted to receive the orthopedic guide pin, and the burr can be moved laterally toward the guide pin at any location along the length of the guide pin until the guide pin is positioned in the bore.

Embodiments of the invention include an orthopedic milling machine for preparing a glenoid bone. The milling machine uses a hub and a sleeve. The hub includes reliefs arranged to cut or mill the bone and the sleeve couples to the hub to transfer rotational motion to the hub. The hub has an axial bore sized to receive an orthopedic guide pin. The hub also has a lateral passage slot that allows the hub to move laterally towards the guide pin in order to place the guide pin within the axial bore.

An orthopedic driver is provided that includes an elongate tubular body and an indicator assembly. The indicator assembly has a housing that has at least one opening and a visual indicator disposed in the at least one opening. The visual indicator is configured to be coupled with a guide pin such that lateral movement of the elongate tubular body relative to the guide pin causes the visual indicator to move between a flush or recessed configuration within the housing and an extended configuration. In the extended configuration, the visual indicator extends outward of an outer surface of the housing. The flush or recessed configuration corresponds to alignment of the guide pin relative to the elongate tubular body and the extended configuration corresponds to misalignment of the guide pin relative to the elongate tubular body.
