The patent is for certain developments in hanger technology. Particularly attachments to provide broader shoulder supports for wood wire and plastic hangers and combinations thereof.

Hanger attachment

An eye wash station is disclosed for dispensing a fluid to a person's eyes. The eye wash station includes a tank to contain the fluid and a pedestal having a tank support portion and a generally horizontal base portion. The eye wash station has a reservoir configured to maintain a substantially constant level of the fluid within the reservoir when the tank is installed. A dispensing arm providing a flow outlet is pivotally mounted to the pedestal for movement between a stowed position where the flow outlet is above the reservoir fluid level and an operating position wherein the flow outlet is below the reservoir fluid level. A conduit, such as a length of flexible tubing or hose, couples the reservoir to the flow outlet to allow flow of the fluid from the reservoir to the flow outlet when the dispensing arm is in the operating position, and a pair of spray heads coupled to the flow outlet provide a spray of the fluid. The eye wash station may further include a fluid drain coupled to a basin disposed within the base portion of the pedestal, as well as a pinch valve to restrict flow of fluid through the conduit while the tank is being installed or maintained. The pinch valve and conduit are configured to automatically reset to the open (i.e., disengaged) position when the dispensing arm is raised to the stowed position. The tank outlet may include a tank lid with a seal that is pierced by a piercing part in the reservoir while the tank is being installed. The eye wash station may further include a V-shaped retaining profile upon the upper surface of the tank support portion of the pedestal and a corresponding V-shaped retaining profile upon the bottom surface of the tank to facilitate a secure fit of the tank to the pedestal. A method of preparing the tank for use is also disclosed.

An improved bill stacker is described that effectively rolls incoming bills onto the stack. In one aspect of the invention, the bill stacker includes a housing that encloses a stacking plate that is arranged to support a stack of bills. A gripper is typically provided to grab the leading edge of an incoming bill and a stack roller is arranged to travel longitudinally relative the stacking plate to 'roll' a newly received bill onto a top end of the bill stack (if present) or the stacking plate when the first bill is being received. A variety of methods of stacking bills in a cash box using the concept of rolling an incoming bill onto the top of a stack are also described.

A tempered water mixing system for applications such as emergency drench shower and eyewash stations, wherein the mixing system includes back-up control valves to ensure a substantial water flow without risk of user scalding in the event of malfunction of a main thermostatic mixing valve. The main mixing valve thermostatically blends cold and hot water supplies to provide a tempered discharge outflow at a selected temperature. A temperature limit control valve detects the discharge outflow temperature and responds to an excess temperature condition to modulate hot water flow in a manner reducing discharge temperature. A flow limit control valve detects the pressure differential between the discharge outflow and the cold water supply, and responds to a low flow condition represented by a high pressure differential to permit a make-up bypass flow of cold water past the main mixing valve.

Tempered water mixing system

An improved emergency wash station is provided for flushing irritants from the eyes or face of an individual, particularly such as a person working in an industrial or laboratory environment. The wash station includes a spray manifold having a large plurality of spray ports disposed above the upper rim of a drain bowl, with the spray manifold being connected to a water supply via a single inlet fitting located externally of the drain bowl. A pressure control member at the inlet fitting insures a relatively gentle yet substantially full face flush spray throughout a range of water supply pressures. In addition, the spray ports are formed with an outwardly expanding taper to minimize clogging by ice or other debris.
