The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for implementing a resource allocation and adjusting resource usage and spending based on information received from a plurality of network-connected devices. One example method includes identifying a new connected device replacing an existing device associated with a resource allocation, the resource allocation defining an expected resource usage for a plurality of devices (including the existing device), obtaining historical resource usage information associated with the existing device, identifying the existing device's operational parameters, and determining an expected resource usage for the new connected device after replacement. A change in the expected resource usage in the resource allocation is calculated based on the obtained historical resource usage information associated with the existing device and the expected resource usage amount for the new connected device. The master resource allocation is then updated based on the calculated change.

Resource allocation control based on connected devices

The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for implementing a resource allocation. One example method is performed by identifying a resource allocation associated with the device hub, the resource allocation defining an expected resource usage associated with a connected device and a non-connected device. Resource usage information associated with the connected device is monitored, where usage information associated with the non-connected device is calculated based on a difference between a total resource usage identified by the device hub and the resource usage information associated with the connected device. The resource usage information is compared to the resource allocation, and in response to the comparison and a determination that the non-connected device exceeded the resource allocation associated with the non-connected device, an adjustment in operation for the connected device associated with the device hub is calculated. An instruction is transmitted to the connected device to perform the calculated adjustment.

A method and system for recommending a physical location at which to complete an electronic activity are disclosed. In some examples, the system identifies an incomplete portion of an electronic activity initiated at a first device, and identifies a plurality of candidate locations for completion of the electronic activity based on at least one characteristic of the incomplete portion. When a prior location of the first device is closer to a first one of the candidate locations than to a second one of the candidate locations, the system selects the first candidate location for the completion of the electronic activity and provides activity data characterizing the electronic activity to a second device disposed at the first candidate location.

The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods and systems that automatically verify an identity of a user based on social media messaging. In an embodiment, an apparatus identifies a first social media message associated with a social networking account of a user and generated by a device of the user. The apparatus may generate may extract authentication data from the first social media message, and may verify an identity of the user based on a correspondence between the extracted authentication data and at least a portion of stored user profile. In response to the verification, the apparatus may generate one or more electronic commands to initiate an action involving one or more securities.

Systems and methods for verifying user identity based on social media messaging

The present disclosure involves systems and computer implemented methods for generating a virtual or augmented reality-based oversight system of business processes at a location remote from where the business process is executed. In one example, system operations include identifying a process-based operation performed at a physical first location, where the operation is associated with a request for oversight from a remote second location. A current state of the operation at the first location is identified, and at least one input source at the first location is identified. A simulation of the current state of the operation at the first location incorporating input from the input source(s) is generated for presentation at the second location. An action performed at the first location in the current state of the operation is identified, and the second location is then transmitted a request to authorize the identified action.

Augmented and virtual reality based process oversight

The disclosed embodiments include computerized methods and systems that facilitate automate trade-order entry and execution based on social media messaging. In one embodiment, an apparatus may receive, from a social-networking service, social media data that includes various social media messages associated with social-networking accounts of various users. The apparatus may detect an occurrence of a predetermined element of content within a first social media message associated with a social networking account of a first user, and may extract data identifying at least one parameter of an action from the first social media message. The apparatus may generate proposed transaction parameters that include the at least one extracted action parameter, and in response to a confirmation of the proposed transaction parameters, the apparatus may generate one or more electronic commands to initiate a performance of the action in accordance with the confirmed transaction parameters.

Systems and methods for automatically generating order data based on social media messaging

A method and system for recommending a physical location at which to complete an electronic activity are disclosed. In some examples, initiation of the electronic activity by a user at a first physical location is detected, that the electronic activity is to be completed at a physical location different from the first physical location is determined, one or more portions of the electronic activity that remain incomplete are determined, a second physical location at which to complete the one or more incomplete portions of the electronic activity is identified, and information about the electronic activity is provided to the second physical location. In some examples, the identification of the second physical location is based on at least characteristics of the electronic activity, the user, and/or the second physical location.

A method and system for recommending a physical location at which to complete an electronic activity are disclosed. The present disclosure relates to systems and computer-implemented methods for implementing a resource allocation and adjusting resource usage and spending based on information received from a plurality of network-connected devices. One example method is performed by identifying a master resource allocation associated with a plurality of connected devices and monitoring, at a device hub, resource usage information associated with at least one connected device. The device hub compares the monitored resource usage information associated with the at least one connected device to the master resource allocation for the plurality of connected devices, and, in response to the comparison, calculates at least one adjustment in operation for a particular connected device from the plurality of connected devices based on the monitored resource usage information. The device hub then transmits an instruction to perform the at least one calculated adjustment in operation to the particular connected device associated with the adjustment.

Resource allocation based on connected devices

The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing a notification relating to a geographical boundary based on monitored sensor data collected by networked devices. The disclosed embodiments include, for example, a method that monitors positional sensor data received from one or more triggering devices. The method may calculate a first boundary extent delimiting the geographical area of the first boundary based on one or more boundary extent parameters. The method may also detect an occurrence of a triggering condition that impacts a movement of at least one of a client device or at least one of the triggering devices within a geographic region that includes the first location. In response to the detected triggering event, at least one of modified start time or a second location may be established for the event, which may be provided to the client and triggering devices in a notification.

Systems and methods for providing sensor-based location proximity detection and notification

The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing a notification relating to a geographical boundary based on monitored sensor data collected by networked devices. The disclosed embodiments include, for example, a method for receiving, by one or more processors, a request to establish a first boundary around a first location. The method may also include monitoring, by the one or more processors, one or more triggering devices. The method may also include calculating, by the one or more processors, a first boundary extent delimiting the geographical area of the first boundary based on one or more boundary extent parameters. The method may also include detecting, by the one or more processors, whether at least one of the one or more triggering devices is located within the first boundary extent. The method may also include, when the at least one of the one or more triggering devices is detected within the first boundary extent, sending, by the one or more processors, a notification to a client device based on the determining.
