Tool handle

An extendable handle for a paint applicator includes an first shaft having a distal end and a proximal end and a second shaft with a distal end and a proximal end and which is telescopically disposed within the first shaft. A guide block is disposed on the second shaft and defines a curved channel. A third shaft has a distal end and a proximal end and is telescopically disposed within the second shaft. An advancement strip has a first end connected to the distal end of the first shaft and a second end connected to the proximal end of the third shaft and is disposed through the curved channel of the guide block. The advancement strip can both push and pull the third shaft relative to the second shaft.

Hand held abrading tools are disclosed. The abrading tools include clamping mechanisms to quickly and reliably secure sanding paper, bristled sheets, polishing cloths, and the like, to the tool, while at the same time providing the operator with increased agility and ability to reach relatively hard to reach or oddly shaped surfaces.

The present disclosure provides a paint applicator which may be used to apply paint to corners, to junctions between adjacent walls, along window trim, along floor moldings, or other surface adjacent to the surface being painted, without smearing paint on the adjacent surface. Moreover, the present disclosure provides a paint applicator having a trim system that prevents the painter's hands from becoming covered with paint upon actuation of trim system.
