End member assemblies that are dimensioned for use in forming a gas spring assembly can include an end member core that is dimensioned for securement to a flexible spring member to at least partially form the gas spring assembly. The end member assemblies can also include a plurality of rib members that are supported on the core body. The plurality of rib members are disposed in spaced relation relative to one another and include an end disposed radially outward beyond the core body. A skirt body can be supported on the core body in operative engagement with the plurality of rib members. The skirt body can include at least one surface operative to engage the flexible spring member. Gas spring assemblies, suspension systems and methods are also included.

Lateral support elements include an element wall with an exterior surface dimensioned to abuttingly engage an associated flexible wall and an interior surface that at least partially defines an element chamber within the lateral supporting element. Gas spring assemblies include a flexible spring member that at least partially defines a spring chamber. The lateral support element is disposed along and operatively connected to the flexible spring member. The element chamber can, optionally and in some cases, be disposed in fluid communication with the spring chamber. The gas spring assembly can include one or more end members operatively connected to the flexible spring member. Suspension systems and methods of assembly are also included.

Gas spring end members can include an end member body formed substantially entirely from a polymeric material. The end member body can have a longitudinal axis and can include a body wall with an end wall portion oriented transverse to the longitudinal axis. The end wall portion can at least partially define a mounting plane of the gas spring end member that is dimensioned to abuttingly engage an associated structural component. The body wall can also include an outer peripheral wall portion disposed radially outward of the end wall portion and that at least partially defines an outer peripheral edge of the gas spring end member. The outer peripheral wall portion can be axially offset from the end wall portion in a direction away from the mounting plane. Gas spring assemblies, suspension systems and methods are also included.
