A tool is provided, having a handle with a blade chamber defining a blade chamber cavity, a first locking element, and a second locking element that is user actuated, and a removable blade with a tang engageable in the blade chamber cavity and a working portion. A blade sleeve, is also provided, at least a portion of which is located on the tang.

Tool with replaceable blade

A tool handle for use with a removable blade having a latch opening, the tool handle having a housing defining a blade chamber in the housing, a latch disposed in the housing, configured for moving between a latched position and a released position. In the latched position, the latch is configured to extend through the latch opening. Also included is an actuator at least partially enclosed within the housing, configured for moving between a rest position and a depressed position, wherein movement of the actuator to the depressed position causes the latch to move to the released position.

A wallboard finishing roller having an elongated bracket with two ends is provided. Two roller assemblies are attached to the bracket such that the first roller assembly includes a center axis that is perpendicular to a center axis of the second roller assembly. Each roller assembly includes a wheel, a bushing and a shaft such that the wheel is rotatable around the axis of the shaft. The roller assembly is affixed to the bracket by a bracket nut, which is held in place by a bumper.

The container also includes a reinforcing band attached to the body and configured for reinforcing each of the side walls and the end walls where the reinforcing band is displaced from an upper edge of the body only by a distance sufficient to define a scraping edge extending upwardly beyond an upper edge of the reinforcing band and where the scraping edge is formed by the upper edge of the body and supported by the band.

A joint compound container has two opposing end walls, and a body having a generally trough shape formed from two planar side walls separated from one another by a planar floor. The body is affixed to the end walls. Each of the side walls shares a respective common radiused edge with the floor of the container.

A mixer is provided that is configured for attachment to a power tool for mixing a viscous material, and includes a shaft defining a shaft axis, and a plurality of paddles attached to the shaft and extending radially from the shaft. All of the paddles have generally the same axial distance to the first end of the shaft, and the paddles are configured for rotation about the shaft axis in a direction of rotation. Each of the paddles has a general 'S'-shape defined between a top end and a bottom end of the paddle, and between a leading surface and a trailing surface of the paddle.

A taping knife, including a blade having a proximal end and a distal end, a bracket having a first portion arranged generally parallel to the blade and attached to the blade proximal end and a second portion arranged generally perpendicular to the first portion, and a handle configured for rotation-free engagement with the bracket second portion.
