Systems, apparatuses, and methods for managing message content are provided. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, by one or more computing devices, a message comprising audio content and visual media content. The method further includes sending, by the one or more computing devices, a first set of data descriptive of the audio content to an audio device. The audio device is configured to communicate the audio content to a user of the audio device. The method includes sending, by the one or more computing devices, a second set of data descriptive of the visual media content to a display device. The display device is configured to display the visual media content for the user. The method further includes providing, by the one or more computing devices, a notification to the user of the audio device to view the visual media content on the display device.

Management system for audio and visual content

Example implementations may relate to creation and control of channels. In particular, a computing device may receive a first channel-addition request indicating content from a first audio-provider service and may responsively send to a server an instruction to establish a first channel that provides access to content from the first audio-provider service via an application-program account. With this arrangement, a subsequent second channel-addition request may then similarly lead to establishment of a second channel that provides access to content from the second audio-provider service via the application-program account. After channel-additions, the device may determine a first selection of the added first channel and may responsively cause content from the first audio-provider service to be output by an audio output device. Then, the device may determine a second selection of the added second channel and responsively cause content from the second audio-provider service to be output by the audio output device.

Creation and control of channels that provide access to content from various audio-provider services

Example embodiments include an example method that involves detecting, via a gesture-detection sensor of a head-mountable device (HMD), a first gesture in a buttonless-touch region. The buttonless-touch region is located behind an ear of a wearer of the HMD. The method also includes activating a voice interface responsive to detecting the first gesture and, while the voice interface is activated, receiving an audio input signal via a microphone. The method further includes detecting, via the gesture-detection sensor, a second gesture in the buttonless-touch region and, responsive to detecting the second gesture, deactivating the voice interface. The method still further includes processing the audio input signal to determine a voice command having a start-point corresponding to the detected first gesture and an end-point corresponding to the detected second gesture.

Behind the ear gesture control for a head mountable device

Embodiments described herein may help to provide methods for sharing and viewing part of an environment of a computing device, such as a head-mountable device (HMD). An example method involves: (a) determining a still photo panorama of an environment, (b) receiving a video stream of a first portion of the environment from a video camera on a sharing device, (c) determining a registration data stream, where the registration data stream indicates a location and an orientation of the video stream within the still photo panorama of the environment; and (d) transmitting the video stream and the registration data stream to one or more viewing devices.

Systems and methods for environment content sharing

A device may be configured to generate a display of a content in a view region. The view region has a given boundary, and the content is provided for display at a first size. The device may be configured to receive a size-adjusting input for adjusting a size of the content. The device may be configured to cause the size of the content to change from the first size to a second size. The device may be configured to receive an indication of ending the size-adjusting operation, and in response to receiving the indication, cause the size of the content to change to a third size that is between the first size and the second size. In addition, or alternative, to receiving the size-adjusting input, the device may also receive a position-adjusting input and, in response, adjust the position and/or size of the content within the given boundary.
