An apparatus for movably coupling a robotic medical instrument system to an anatomic orifice device comprises a hollow medial portion including a first end, a second end, and a passageway therebetween. The apparatus further comprises a coupling member coupled to the medial portion along a longitudinal axis of the medial portion. The passageway extends through the coupling member, and the coupling member comprises a curved surface configured to rotatably connect the anatomic orifice device to the robotic medical instrument system.

Systems and methods for coupling components of a medical system

A system may comprise a connection member configured to be connected to an anatomic orifice device. The anatomic orifice device may be configured for insertion into a patient. The system may also comprise a mounting bracket coupled to a robot-assisted medical system. The mounting bracket may also include a movable mounting component coupled to a fixed mounting component. The movable mounting component may have a first configuration for mounting to the connection member in a first engagement and a second configuration for mounting to the connection member in a second engagement. The connection member may be spaced apart from the fixed mounting component in the first engagement and may be in direct contact with the fixed mounting component in the second engagement.

Systems and methods for coupling medical components

An apparatus for guiding an elongated flexible instrument comprises a variable-length support assembly. The variable-length support assembly includes a first end, a second end, a plurality of support member pairs, and a plurality of eyelets configured to receive the elongated flexible instrument. Each support member pair comprises a first support member linked to a second support member, and each of the plurality of eyelets is movably coupled to at least one of the plurality of support member pairs along a longitudinal central axis between the first end and the second end. The variable-length support assembly is configured to selectively transition from a compressed configuration to an expanded configuration along the longitudinal central axis, and the plurality of eyelets are adapted to support the elongated flexible instrument as the elongated flexible instrument is advanced along the longitudinal central axis. Each of the plurality of eyelets includes a tapered alignment member configured to contact a tapered alignment member of an adjacent eyelet to move the plurality of eyelets into alignment along the longitudinal axis as the variable length assembly transitions from the expanded configuration to the compressed configuration.

Guide apparatus for delivery of an elongate device and methods of use

The systems and methods of the present disclosure are for use in a medical procedure, in which a connection mechanism is provided with a first end connected to a medical system interface at a first joint and a second end connected to an anatomic orifice device at a second joint. The anatomic orifice device is fixedly coupled to a patient. A flexible portion is provided between the first and second ends, the flexible portion being able to provide flexibility in at least one degree of freedom in response to movement of the anatomic orifice device.

An apparatus for guiding an elongated flexible instrument comprises a variable-length support assembly including a first end, a second end, a plurality of support member pairs, and a plurality of eyelets movably coupled to at least one support member pair and configured to receive the elongated flexible instrument. The variable-length support assembly is configured to selectively transition from a compressed configuration to an expanded configuration along a longitudinal central axis, and the plurality of eyelets are adapted to support the elongated flexible instrument as the elongated flexible instrument is advanced along the longitudinal central axis. Each of the plurality of eyelets includes a tapered alignment member configured to contact a tapered alignment member of an adjacent eyelet to move the plurality of eyelets into alignment along the longitudinal axis as the variable length assembly transitions from the expanded configuration to the compressed configuration.

A workstation support assembly comprises a support assembly, a post assembly rotationally supported by the support assembly and including a post member, a computer monitor support assembly operably coupled for rotation with a first end of the post member, and a keyboard support assembly operably coupled for rotation with a second end of the post member, wherein rotation of the keyboard support assembly forces rotation of the post member and the monitor support assembly, and wherein rotation of the monitor support assembly does not force the rotation of the keyboard support assembly. Other aspects of the workstation comprise a four-bar linkage support arm that includes a cable management member extending therethrough for receiving and guiding wires within an interior passage of the support arm, a lockable pneumatic cylinder located within the support arm and adapted to lock the support arm at a given vertical position, a housing assembly that spans the distance between vertical studs within commercial wall structures, thereby eliminating the requirement for additional mounting structures, and a keyboard support assembly that includes a cam assembly for locking an adjustable keyboard in a storage position, and a storage compartment for slidably receiving a computer mouse therein when the keyboard support is in the storage position.

The torsional energy unit biases the back to a forward position. A freestanding partition panel for dividing a floor space includes a rigid partition frame having vertical side frame members and first and second horizontal frame members extending between the vertical side frame members to form a vertically enlarged opening through the frame, and an open space within the panel. The first cover panel is connected to the intermediate horizontal cross member and extends vertically between the intermediate horizontal cross member and the selected one of the first and second members. A second cover panel is secured to the partition frame, and extends horizontally between the vertical side frame members. The second cover panel extends vertically between the intermediate horizontal cross member and the other of the selected one of the first and second horizontal members.
