Disclosed are devices that may include brackets and clamps for assembling mounting structures built from pipes and cross-braces. These mounting structures support solar panels. The devices may include a rail-pipe bracket that secures a rail to a pipe. The rail-pipe bracket may include openings for seating a pipe and include hooks for securing the rail. The devices may also include one or more pipe clamps that secure the pipes together. These pipe clamps are adjustable and may accommodate pipes of various sizes thanks to a multi-tier hinge structure.

Rail-pipe brackets, pipe clamps, and related components for supporting solar panels

Disclosed are standing seam clamps and solar panel racking systems that include the standing seam clamps. The standing seam clamps may include detents in the sides of their clamp bodies that allow a solar panel clamp to secure to the clamp body without threaded fasteners. The standing seam clamp includes structure to secure solar panel racking system without rails. The standing seam clamp may be optionally structured to secure both rail-less and rail-base solar panel racking systems.

Devices and systems for mounting solar panels to metal roofs

This disclosure discusses an electrical jumper for equipotential electrical connection between devices. The electrical jumper may include a body and clamps optionally positioned on opposite ends of the body. The clamps include a series of interlacable multi-hinged fingers. Downward-facing fingers and upward-facing fingers extend away from the body. The downward-facing fingers may interlace with the upward-facing fingers when unclamped. When clamped, downward-facing fingers may interlace with the upward-facing fingers may alternate. The ends of the upward-facing fingers and downward-facing fingers may face inward toward the body. The fingers may move and hinge independently of one another along multiple hinges.

A wire management device is disclosed. The device comprises a clip comprising an upper planar member and a lower planar member, each planar member having an inner and outer surface, wherein the inner surface of the upper planar member includes a post extending toward the inner surface of the lower planar member, a stem extending from the outer surface of the lower planar member, the stem including two outwardly-extending flanges, each of the first and second outwardly-extending flanges including an edge portion extending toward the outer surface of the lower planar member, and a transverse passage extending along the outer surface of the lower planar member, the transverse passage extending across the stem, wherein the stem has a recessed portion along the transverse passage.

Frame-mounted wire management device

A structure and support device for photovoltaic arrays is provided. The device provides a structural connection between photovoltaic modules, wind deflectors and similar hardware. The invention provides an advantage of quick and easy installation of hardware components and associated parts, and meets the demand for a single device capable of combining solar energy associated hardware into photovoltaic arrays.

A leveler for a solar module can include a base, a rotatable adjuster, and a follower. The rotatable adjuster can be mounted to the base with a swaging process, or other techniques. The follower can be embedded within a coupler configured to be connectable to solar modules. Turning the rotatable height adjuster changes the relative spacing between the solar module and the base.

An anchor for mounting one or more solar modules to a roof is disclosed. The anchor can comprise a clamp body comprising a central surface and a first arm extending from the central surface. The first arm can have a first clamping face. The clamp body can be sized and shaped to receive one or more webs extending from one or more solar modules. The anchor can include a rotatable clamp device coupled to the clamp body, the rotatable clamp device configured to press a first web of the one or more webs against the first clamping face. The anchor can also include a rotatable height adjustment member coupled to the rotatable clamp device, the rotatable height adjustment member configured to raise or lower at least the clamp body. The rotatable clamp device and the rotatable height adjustment member can be configured to rotate about the same axis.

Anchor for solar module

An anchor for mounting one or more solar modules to a roof is disclosed. The anchor can comprise a clamp body comprising a central surface and a first arm extending from the central surface. The first arm can have a first clamping face. The clamp body can be sized and shaped to receive one or more webs extending from one or more solar modules, each web having a hem at a distal end. The first arm can comprise a first recess sized and shaped to receive a first hem of a first web of the one or more webs. A clamp member can be configured to clamp the first web against the first clamping face.

A framing system for mounting solar collection devices to form a solar array can include a plurality of interconnected frame members having connectors provided on the frame members to form rows of an array solar collector devices. Mounts can be provided at the upper portion of the frame members to secure the solar collecting devices at a raised position. The framing system can simplify the installation of the wiring system before the solar collection devices are attached to the frame members.

An anchor for mounting one or more solar modules to a roof is disclosed. The anchor can comprise a clamp body comprising a central surface and a first arm extending from the central surface. The first arm can have a first clamping face. The clamp body can be sized and shaped to receive at least a first web extending from at least a first solar module such that at least the first web can lie in proximity to the first clamping face. The anchor can further include a clamp member coupled to the clamp body so as to be moveable toward the first clamping face to press the first web against the first clamping face.

A brace for connecting the frames of adjacent solar modules can include one or more lower lips and one or more upper lips configured to capture an outer edge of a solar module frame. The brace can include a removable top so as to facilitate connection and disconnection of the couplers and solar modules. Additionally, the brace can be configured to allow a solar module to be engaged and disengaged by hooking the frame onto the brace then tilting the frame relative to the brace. The brace can include features for achieving a snap fit with solar module frames.
