Methods, systems, and devices for providing computer implemented services are disclosed. To provide the computer implemented services, a data processing system may include various hardware components. To secure the various hardware components, the data processing system may include a security bezel. The security bezel may for a chassis of the data processing system, the hardware components being positioned on an interior of the chassis. The security bezel may have a structural body that has a length that is equal to or less than a length of a two-dimensional surface through which access to the interior is provided. The security bezel may further have an adjustable member adapted to adjust a length of the structural bezel to match the length of the surface while reversibly securing the structural body to the chassis.

Devices, systems, and methods for managing chassis of data processing systems are disclosed. The chassis may be managed by reversibly attaching them to structural members such as rails. When so attached, the chassis may be fixedly held in a position. To facilitate access to an interior of the chassis, the chassis may be detached from the structural member and moved to a maintenance position. To detach the chassis from the structural member, the chassis may include a latch assembly. The latch assembly may include features to inform and remind technicians or other persons of the existence, or lack thereof, of various lines connecting the chassis, and components positioned in the chassis, to other components.

Devices, systems, and methods for managing chassis of data processing systems are disclosed. The chassis may be managed by reversibly attaching them to structural members such as rails. When so attached, the chassis may be fixedly held in a position. To facilitate access to an interior of the chassis, the chassis may be detached from the structural member and moved to a maintenance position. To detach the chassis from the structural member, the chassis may include a latch. The latch may be positioned in an ear of the chassis and may be protected by a frame. The frame may include a recess, hole, or other feature to facilitate access to the latch. The access may allow application of force to a single portion of the latch to rotate or otherwise actuate the latch. Actuation of the latch may facilitate detachment of the chassis from the structural member.

A server information handling system is secured by a bezel that couples to an access location, such as an air vent at a front or rear face of a housing. The bezel includes a security structure having a lock and configured to couple directly at the front face or with a bezel extension at the rear face so that the server information handling system can use the same bezel with both a front face or rear face rack mount. The bezel has a lock integrated with the security structure, an air filter that fits over the security structure to filter air flowing into the housing, and a filter brace that captures the air filter by coupling to the security structure over the air filter. The filter brace attaches and detaches at the security structure when the security structure locks a server information handling system housing so that the air filter can be changed while the housing remains secure.

A method may include, in response to a condition related to a particular device of a plurality of devices in an information handling system, causing a particular visual indicator associated with the particular device to illuminate in accordance with a blink pattern. The blink pattern may include one or more first durations of time in which the particular visual indicator is illuminated, one or more second durations of time significantly shorter than the first durations of time in which the particular visual indicator is illuminated, and a plurality of third durations of time significantly shorter than the first durations of time and the second durations of time in which the particular visual indicator is darkened, wherein each first duration of time occurs immediately before and after a third duration of time and each second duration of time occurs immediately before and after a third duration of time.

A bezel configured to mechanically couple to a housing for housing components of an information handling system may include one or more mechanical features for mechanically coupling the bezel to the housing, an illuminated element module mechanically coupled to a mechanical structure of the bezel, and a bezel connector having a plurality of pins communicatively coupled to the illuminated element module, the bezel connector configured to communicatively couple the illuminated element module to an access controller of the information handling system housed within the housing, such that the illuminated element module receives instructions from the access controller for displaying a visual behavior relating to a status of the information handling system and displays the visual behavior in response to receiving the instructions.

A chassis for housing a computing device of an information handling system includes a receiving portion of an expansion card receiver that receives an expansion card and operably connects the expansion card to another component of the computing device while the expansion card is received by the receiving portion. The chassis further includes a management portion of the expansion card receiver that receives a force from a user and, in response to receiving the force: transitions the management portion from a first state to a second state. In the first state, a handle, that enables the expansion card to be removed from the chassis is disposed inside of the management portion and the expansion card receiver is locked to the chassis.
