A system includes a computer that includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive an input route from a user device, wherein the input route is determined by user input tracing the input route on a display of a map on the user device, to specify a travel route for a vehicle, including a direction of movement of the vehicle, based on the input route received from the user device, and upon determining that the vehicle specified travel route is within a specified distance of the input route, to adjust the travel route based on vehicle sensor data, a destination of the input route, and a time of day, thereby outputting an adjusted travel route.

Vehicle path control

Techniques and examples pertaining to a virtual window between two remotely located environments are described. A method for teleconferencing using the virtual window may involve receiving, from a camera, first multimedia data of a first environment. The method may also involve receiving, from a position tracker, position data of a user in a second environment. The method may also involve transforming, based on the position data, the first multimedia data to second multimedia data of the first environment. The method may further involve presenting the second multimedia data to the user such that the user perceives the first environment as being separated from the second environment by a physical window.

Virtual window for teleconferencing

A vehicle includes a controller, programmed to responsive to wirelessly connecting to a mobile device using a mobile credential issued from a server within a time frame specified in the mobile credential, issue an access token to the mobile device, and responsive to receiving a command authorized by the access token from the mobile device, route the command to a vehicle subsystem for execution.

Vehicle smart connection

A system for controlling a vehicle from a remote device, such as a mobile device, is disclosed. In one embodiment, the mobile device includes a mobile phone. In other embodiments, any device capable of receiving user input to control the movement may be used. In one embodiment, the system includes a user input receiving module coupled to a processor and configured to receive variations in user input forces applied to a touch-sensitive user interface over a period of time, wherein the intentional or unintentional variations in user input forces over the period of time are indicative of user intent to control the vehicle.

A system includes a processor configured to receive a request from a mobile device to utilize a vehicle resource. The processor is also configured to determine that a first key has been used to start a vehicle a first time. The processor is further configured to determine that a second key has been used to start the vehicle a second time and approve the request based on the determination that both the first key and the second key were used to start the vehicle a first time and a second time respectively.

Method and apparatus for secure pairing

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a software architecture encoded on a computer readable medium is disclosed. The software architecture can be utilized for developing in-vehicle software applications for installation and execution on an in-vehicle computer system. The software architecture includes a number of vehicle application program interfaces (APIs) for accessing vehicles systems or data and for developing in-vehicle software applications; and a number of policy restrictions underlying the vehicle APIs for restricting the level of access to vehicle systems and data while the in-vehicle software application is being developed.

An automotive vehicle includes one or more computers. The one or more computers are also configured to, in a second mode of operation, generate output representing at least one suggested vehicle destination based on the identified patterns and assets detected in the vicinity of the vehicle.

Automotive vehicle and asset management system therefor

An automotive vehicle includes one or more computers. The one or more computers are configured to, in a first mode of operation, receive and store, at a plurality of instances, inventory information about assets in a vicinity of the vehicle, and identify patterns in asset inventories based on a history of days and times when the inventory information was received. The one or more computers are also configured to, in a second mode of operation, generate output representing an alert if an asset expected to be in the vicinity of the vehicle on a particular day and time, based on the identified patterns, is not in the vicinity of the vehicle.

A vehicle system for communicating with a child seat is provided with a receiver configured for receiving a seat sensor signal from a child seat controller. A controller is configured for communicating with the receiver for analyzing the seat sensor signal and comparing the seat sensor signal to pre-existing guidelines to determine a status message. A user interface is configured for communicating with the controller for displaying the status message. The child seat is provided with a plurality of seat sensors for measuring different adjustable features of the seat including; a harness sensor for measuring a tension within a harness; a buckle switch for measuring a connection of a buckle; and a level sensor for measuring an inclination of a seat sub-assembly. The seat controller is provided for receiving measurement signals from the seat sensors and transmitting the seat sensor signal.
