In various embodiments, a street lighting device with a first light source for illuminating the street plane from above is provided. The device may include a second light source located at a closer position to the street plane than said first light source; a sensor sensitive to the occurrence of conditions of reduced ambient visibility; and a controller connected to said sensor and capable of activating said second light source in the presence of said conditions of reduced ambient visibility.

Street lighting device

A device for mounting lighting sources on a substrate includes a channel-like mounting frame provided with fixing formations for fixing on said substrate, said mounting frame defining a cavity for receiving said lighting source with said lighting source resting on said substrate, a slider member which can be positioned in said cavity of said mounting frame to urge said lighting source toward said substrate; said slider member being slidable with respect to said mounting frame between an insertion position and a locking position, wherein said mounting frame and said slider member bear complementary engagement formations cooperating in a ramp-like manner to force said slider member and the lighting source urged thereby toward said substrate when said slider member is advanced from said insertion position toward said locking position.

Mounting device for lighting sources

A circuit for driving a plurality of light sources via a current generator, wherein the light sources are grouped into a plurality of light source sets wherein the driver circuit comprises a plurality of inductive elements, a plurality of switches adapted to selectively connect each light source set in series with one of the inductive elements, and a control circuit configured for driving the switches, so that during a first operation time interval, each light source set is connected in series with a respective first inductive element, and during a second operation time interval, each light source set is connected in series with a respective second inductive element, wherein the respective second inductive element is separate from the respective first inductive element.

Circuit and method for driving light sources and lighting system

Lighting device, usable for example with LED light sources, comprises a bowl-shaped body having a base surface with a plurality of mounting studs projecting from the base surface, together with one or more boards for the mounting of light radiation sources, provided with holes for the passage of respective mounting studs. The board has pairs of mounting locations for light radiation sources, each pair being arranged on opposite sides of a respective hole so as to be located on opposite sides of the stud which extends through said respective hole. A plurality of reflectors is provided in order to project the light radiation from the device. The reflectors each have an inlet opening for the light radiation and are capable of being mounted on the mounting studs selectively in one of at least two opposite mounting positions in which the inlet opening is placed at one of said mounting locations.

Lighting device

A driver device may include a driver transistor providing a regulated current; and a stabilization circuit to produce a stabilized reference voltage to be applied to said driver transistor. The stabilization circuit may include: first and second bipolar stabilization transistors; a voltage divider including a first resistance and a second resistance, said voltage divider being interposed between the bases of said first and said second transistors, with the first resistor connected between the base of said second transistor and said partition point of said voltage divider and the partition point acting on the base of the first transistor; and a polarization network to determine the base-emitter voltages of said first and said second stabilization transistors, wherein: said first resistance has a value lower than the value of said second resistance, and the base-emitter voltage of said first transistor is higher than the base-emitter voltage of said second transistor.
