Various implementations of a bone anchoring assembly comprise a bone anchor and an insert. The bone anchor comprises a proximal end, a distal end, an outer profile suitable for defining a firm and stable coupling with the bone tissue, and a seat open at the proximal end, in which the seat defines an axis. The insert defines an axis that is suitable for being received in the seat of the bone anchor and comprises a proximal end, a distal end, and one or more eyelets placed at the proximal end. Moreover, the seat and the insert comprise snap coupling means suitable for axially retaining the insert in the seat and suitable for allowing the free rotation of the insert in the seat around the axis of the insert.

Bone anchoring assembly

A bone anchor for attaching a suture thread or ligament comprises a main body extending along a longitudinal axis and having a fork-shaped end portion. The end portion is provided with a first and a second fork arm each extending between a constrained end and a free end and spaced apart by an axial slit for receiving a suture thread. Said first and second fork arms have, at their constrained ends, a transverse notch defining two axial retention shoulders for the suture thread.

Bone anchor for attaching a suture thread or ligament

Various implementations include an alignment device for carrying out a periacetabular osteotomy operation on a patient that includes a patient-specific acetabular unit, to be fixed in a univocal position on the iliac bone, in proximity of the acetabulum; a patient-specific iliac unit, to be fixed in a univocal position on the iliac bone, in a lateral position with respect to the acetabular unit; and a patient-specific bridge, to be connected in a rigid and univocal manner to the acetabular unit and to the iliac unit. The acetabular unit and the iliac unit assume a first mutual position incompatible with the bridge. When osteotomy is carried out and the bridge is connected to the acetabular unit and the iliac unit, they assume a second position, different from the first position and corresponding to a bio-mechanically correct position of the acetabulum with respect to the remaining portion of the iliac bone.

Alignment device for a periacetabular osteotomy

A cutting guide for periacetabular osteotomy comprises at least a first main body having a longitudinal opening for the insertion of a cutting instrument, extending from a first end to a second end of the first main body and at least two positioning and fixing arms extending away from the first main body from opposite sides with respect to the longitudinal opening, in order to correctly position the first main body on a bone and fix it thereto through respective fastening members.

Cutting guide for periacetabular osteotomy and kit for periacetabular osteotomy

A device for the retraction of soft tissue in a patient undergoing arthroscopic surgery, comprising a pulling element extending in its own main direction between a first end and a second end, the latter being fitted with a hooking body configured to pass through the soft tissue of a patient and engage in the soft tissue following the traction of the pulling element towards the first end. The device further comprises a presser body suitable to press on the skin of the patient and connectable to the pulling element in at least one operating position placed at a fixed distance from the second end, wherein the fixed distance is such as to define a housing for the layers of soft tissue of the patient engaged by the hooking body.

Disclosed is a guide for a flexible bone drill, including: a first body provided internally with a through channel; a second, internally hollow body, into which said first body can be inserted; said second body being provided with a through hole suitable to be placed in fluidic connection with the internal through channel of said first body; and said second body and said first body sliding relative to one another to vary the relative position of the hole with respect to said through channel. Guide for flexible bone drill and bone resection instrument

A set of instruments is for implantation of an acetabular prosthesis. The set of instruments may include a tool configured to operate in an acetabular cavity of a patient, a first emitter associated with the tool and configured to emit a control signal to be aligned with a reference signal for identifying a correct orientation of the tool relative to the acetabular cavity, and an acetabular reference guide to be fixed to a bone site of the patient separate from the acetabular cavity. The set of instruments may include a second emitter associated with the acetabular reference guide and configured to emit the reference signal.

Set of instruments for the implantation of an acetabular prosthesis

A method is for implantation of an acetabular prosthesis. The method may include positioning an acetabular calibration guide at an acetabular cavity of a patient, and positioning an acetabular reference guide at a bone site of the patient separate from the acetabular cavity. The method may include aligning a calibration signal and a reference signal, the calibration and reference signals being respectively associated with the acetabular calibration guide and the acetabular reference guide. The method may include removing the acetabular calibration guide and positioning a tool at the acetabular cavity of the patient, and aligning a control signal and the reference signal for identifying a desired orientation of the tool relative to the acetabular cavity, the control signal being associated with the tool.
