An inductive position sensor device includes at least a first terminal to couple the position sensor device with a first receiving antenna coil for providing a first reception signal, and at least a second terminal to couple the position sensor device with a second receiving antenna coil for providing a second reception signal. The device further includes a unique receiver channel to evaluate the first and second reception signal, and a multiplexer. The multiplexer is configured to selectively couple the at least one first terminal or the at least one second terminal with the unique receiver channel in dependence on operating the multiplexer in a first or second operation state.

Inductive position sensor device

A sensor front-end is presented for processing a measurement signal from a sensing unit, wherein the sensing unit is configured to receive a stimulus signal from an evaluation unit of the sensor front-end, generate the measurement signal from the stimulus signal by altering an amplitude of the stimulus signal based on a measurement parameter, and provide the measurement signal to the evaluation unit. The sensor front-end comprises the evaluation unit that is configured to generate a simulated measurement signal from the stimulus signal by controlling an amplitude of the stimulus signal based on a predetermined control variable, to generate a simulated output signal based on the stimulus signal and the simulated measurement signal, and to determine an error condition based on a comparison of the simulated output signal and the predetermined control variable or a signal derived from the predetermined control variable.

Sensor front-end and method for operating a sensor device

A control circuit arrangement for pulse-width modulated DC/DC converters includes a phase generator for a complementary driver which provides respective gate signals to a first and second driver transistor in response to a control signal. A clock control circuit receives a clock signal and a pulse-width modulated signal and provides the control signal in response to a signal edge of the pulse-width modulated signal and the clock signal applied thereto. A mode selection input terminal receives a mode selection signal to select a first mode or a second mode of operation. The phase generator provides in the first mode each of the gate signals the control signal and the respective other gate signal. In the second mode of operation, it provides each gate signal in response to the control signal.
