An accumulator includes a bellowshaving a plurality of outer ridge portions and a plurality of inner annular ridge portions and configured to be capable of expanding and contracting, and a housing having a fluid supply port and fixed to one end of the bellows serving as a fixed end. An interior of the housing is partitioned in a sealed state into an inside and an outside of the bellows. The outer annular ridge portions are divided into at least a first sector and a second sector which are distributed in an expansion and contraction direction of the bellows such that the second sector is positioned between the first sector and the fixed end. The outer annular ridge portions included in the first sector have an outer diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the outer annular ridge portions included in the second sector.

Accumulator

An accumulator has a pressure vessel, a partition portion comparting an internal space of the pressure vessel into a gas chamber having sealed gaseous matter and a liquid chamber having introduced liquid, and a bellows connected to the partition portion. The partition portion is provided with a bellows connection portion connected to the bellows, a seal arranged in a liquid chamber side of the bellows connection portion, and a seal retention portion fixed to the bellows connection portion and retains the seal. The seal retention portion is constructed by a leaf spring which is elastically deformable in a part thereof, and is structured by integrally forming a fixed portion fixed to the bellows connection portion, and a retention portion retaining the seal. Accordingly, the accumulator can reduce the number of parts of a pressure fluctuation absorbing mechanism, can be easily assembled, and can reduce a parts cost.

An accumulator is provided, which is aimed at stabilization in mounting state of a damping member while diminishing the impact on a metal bellows. In an accumulator (), a damping member () formed slidably at the inner circumferential surface of a pressure vessel () and suppressing the oscillation of a metal bellows () while keeping a gap between the metal bellows () and the inner circumferential surface of the pressure vessel () is mounted at at least one site of a plurality of annular valley parts of the metal bellows() including a plurality of annular crest parts and the plurality of annular valley parts alternately formed therein. In the damping member (), a radially inward tip is fitted with the valley part, and a radially outward tip is longer than the crest part of the metal bellows radially and outwardly.

An accumulator has a seal member retained to a port hole side of a bellows cap via a seal holder. The seal member comes into contact with a seal portion so as to occlude a liquid chamber in the case that an operation of a device stops and the pressure within a pressure piping is lowered. The seal member moves in a direction that the bellows cap moves away from the seal portion while being in contact with the seal portion when the liquid confined in the liquid chamber thermally expands in a state in which the liquid chamber is occluded. The seal member is obtained by attaching a flexible portion constructed by a rubber-like elastic body to an outer peripheral surface of a rigid plate, and the flexible portion allows relative movement of the bellows cap by shear deformation on the basis of engagement with the seal holder.

An accumulator of the invention is provided with a safety mechanism for an emergency which releases an internal pressure of the housing to the oil port side so as to prevent the housing from being exploded by the internal pressure of the housing which comes to a higher pressure in an emergency, for example, occurrence of fire disaster. The safety mechanism for the emergency has a taper portion in a corner portion between the tubular portion and the end surface portion of the stay. The taper portion is buckled at its root position in the emergency. In the case that the taper portion is buckled, a pressure releasing flow path is formed between the bellows cap or the retained member and the taper portion as well as the bellows cap or the retained member and the end surface portion come away. The stay can be manufactured only by press molding.
