A solenoid of a solenoid valve is fixed to a body in direct contact with the body in which a fluid channel is formed. A board is fixed to the solenoid in direct contact with the solenoid.

Fluid pressure control device

In an electronic control unit, a chassis is provided with a plate portion, and a circuit board is secured to a board-side attaching surface of the plate portion with a predetermined space secured relative to the plate portion. The chassis is further provided with a side wall protruding from the circumferential portion of the other surface of the plate portion and is mounted on a surface of a housing incorporating a device therein, with an end surface of the side wall being seated on the surface of the housing. A bus bar is fixed at a fixing portion thereof to the board-side attaching surface between the plate portion and the circuit board and is connected to a terminal of the device which is taken out from the housing. The bus bar is provided at plural free ends thereof with branch portions at which lead portions extend to be joined at end portions thereof to the circuit board. Elastic portions for reducing stresses which are developed at juncture portions of the lead portions to the circuit board as the temperature changes are formed between the base portion and the branch portions alongside the board-side attaching surface.

Electronic control unit

An electronic control unit case is disclosed, wherein a coil is provided on the top surface of a block housing control equipment for operating the same. The case protrudes a sidewall from the circumferential part of a plate portion thereof in which a bus bar is embeded and is secured onto the block with the sidewall resting at its end surface on the block while covering the coil. An electronic control unit is attached to the back surface of the plate portion, a through hole is formed in the plate portion in correspondence to the coil, and a terminal of the coil and a terminal portion of the bus bar are joined to each other in the through hole. In a plane which is parallel to the axis of the coil as well as to a plane in which a portion embeded in the plate portion of the bus bar extends, the terminal portion of the bus bar is bent twice or the terminal portion of the bus bar and the coil terminal are bent both once so that a point where the terminal portion of the bus bar and the coil terminal are joined to each other is offset from the portion embeded in the plate portion of the bus bar in a direction parallel to the coil axis or is further offset from a root portion of the coil terminal in the same direction as the portion embeded in the plate portion of the bus bar extends. Further, the through hole is formed to extend math a thin width in the same direction as said portion embeded in said plate portion of said bus bar extends.

Electronic control unit case

A disc brake for use in a vehicle comprises a mounting member for fixing the vehicle, a cylinder slidably disposed on the mounting member, a pair of disc pads each of which includes a pair of supporting portions, each of the pads supported on the mounting member at the supporting portions and a spring member which engages with each of the pads at a portion substantially on a line which connects between the supporting portions, the spring member which forces outwardly each of the pads so as to be estranged from each other.

A disk brake assembly includes a disk rotor, a mounting member secured to a vehicle body and having a pair of opposed arms positioned at opposite sides of the disk rotor, respectively, a pair of confronting pads arranged on the arms, respectively, a caliper slidably supported on the mounting member so as to be movable in an axial direction generally parallel to an axis of the disk rotor, the caliper having a piston portion and a reaction portion disposed on opposite sides of the disk rotor and arranged to press the pads against opposite surfaces of the disk rotor for generating a braking force therebetween, a plate secured to one of the arms so as to be deformed upon generation of the braking force along a direction thereof, and a detecting device serving for measuring a deformation of the plate as a braking force and converting the deformation into an electric signal.

Disk brake assembly

A disc brake assembly which includes a disc rotor, a mounting member having arm portions in which a pair of grooves extending toward the axial direction of the disc rotor are provided therein, a pair of brake pads disposed to both sides of the disc rotor, at least one of the brake pads having a pair of ear portions which are outwardly projected in the rotational direction of the disc rotor and which are fitted into the grooves of the mounting member so as to be slidably supported on the mounting member, a caliper member slidably supported on the mounting member so as to be movable in an axial direction of the disc rotor and pressing each of the brake pads against faces of the disc rotor, respectively and pad clips engaged with the arm portions of the mounting member so as to cover faces of the grooves and being provided with a first elastic member which is formed on the pad clip in a body and which always outwardly urges the brake pad with a low load in the diametrical direction of the disc rotor through the ear portion and a second elastic member which is formed on the pad clip in a body and which is adjacent to the first elastic member so as to be able to receive the ear portion of the brake pad with high load, respectively. According to this improved disc brake assembly, it is able to slidably support the brake pad on the mounting member without a play in the diametrical direction of the disc rotor while preventing the generation of the dragging phenomenon.

Disc brake assembly

A disc brake assembly includes a disc rotor, a pair of brake pads, a mounting member supporting at least one of the brake pads so as to be able to slide in the parallel direction with respect to a rotational shaft of the disc rotor, a caliper member slidably supported on the mounting member so as to be movable in an axial direction of the disc rotor and pressing each of the brake pads against faces of the disc rotor, respectively and at least one first pad clip interposed between the mounting member which is positioned at the entry side in the rotational direction of the disc rotor in the forward movement of the vehicle and the brake pad which is slidably supported on the mounting. The first pad clip is provided with a holding portion unitarily formed on the first pad clip and urging the brake pad toward the diametrical direction or the disc rotor a side spring portion unitarily formed on the first pad clip and urging the brake pad toward the tangential direction in the rotational direction due to the forward movement the vehicle. The first pad clip is further provided with a damper portion unitarily formed on the first pad clip and having an arm portion which extends between the first pad clip and the brake pad toward the axial direction of the disc rotor and contacted with the first pad clip at its top end.

A parking brake mechanism in a disc brake includes a bottomed tubular adjusting nut slidably fitted in a bore defined in a cylinder bottom coaxially with a piston with a seal ring interposed and having a closed end projecting into the cylinder and coupled to piston, an adjusting bolt axially movably threaded in the adjusting nut and having a head projecting out of the cylinder, a first spring interposed between the head and the cylinder bottom for normally urging the adjusting bolt in a direction out of the cylinder, a thrust bearing interposed between the head and the first spring for ensuring smooth rotation of the adjusting bolt, a pusher disposed coaxially with the adjusting bolt and having in one end a slot substantially perpendicular to an axis of the adjusting bolt, the pusher serving as a clutch for selective engagement with the head, a second spring for normally urging the pusher in a direction out of the cylinder, a plate having an intermediate portion extending through the slot and interposed between the pusher and the head, the plate serving as a second thrust bearing selectively engageable with a central top surface of the head, a cam shaft rotatably supported by a caliper and having a cam slot opening toward an opposite end of the pusher, the cam shaft having a parking lever secured thereto, and a toggle interposed between the cam slot and the opposite end of the pusher for axially moving the pusher in response to angular displacement of the cam slot.

In a sliding type disk brake assembly having a caliper movable on a pair of shoulders of a support member, a fluid actuator on one side of the caliper to press an inner brake shoe against one face of a rotary disk, and a reaction portion on the opposite side of the caliper to press an outer brake shoe against the other face of the disk, the reaction portion being provided substantially at its central portion with a pair of rectangular shaped recesses and the backing plate of the outer brake shoe having a pair of abutment flanges engaged within the recesses, the length dimension of the backing plate being smaller than the spacing between the two shoulders of the support member.
