Arrangement for controlling a track tension wheel of a tracked vehicle, comprising a guide arm system (), which is swivel-mounted in a part fixed to the vehicle and which carries a wheel axle journal () for rotatably supporting the track tension wheel, in such a way that this can be swiveled by means of a first drive element () between a raised position and a lowered position, and a second drive element () for varying the center-to-center distance between the center axis of the track tension wheel and the swivel axis of the guide arm system in the part fixed to the vehicle. The guide arm system () comprises a first guide arm (), which is swivel-mounted in the part fixed to the vehicle and which via a joint pin () pivotally supports a two-armed lever (), a second guide arm (), which is swivel-mounted in the part fixed to the vehicle and is pivotally connected to a linearly displaceable part () of the first drive element (), and a third guide arm (), which is pivotally connected to the second guide arm () and is pivotally connected to the two-armed lever. One end of the lever () carries the wheel axle journal (), while a linearly displaceable part () of the second drive element () is effectively connected to the two-armed lever () carrying the wheel axle journal ().

Arrangement for controlling a track tension wheel of tracked vehicle

The invention relates to a device for operating a track tension wheel on a tracked vehicle. The device comprises two operating cylinders, a pivoting cylinder () for pivoting a tension wheel arm () that carries a tension wheel, and a tensioning cylinder () for changing the distance between the center () of the tension wheel and the center of rotation () of the tension wheel arm. The tensioning cylinder () is pivotally connected to a pivoting link arm (), which link arm is arranged to be stationary in a first phase of a pivoting upward movement of the tension wheel arm () from a lowered position and to pivot around its connection to the link arm (). In a second phase of the upward pivoting movement, a lug () on the tension wheel arm () is arranged to engage with the link arm () to cause the tensioning cylinder () to be pivoted around the connection of the link arm () to the attachment () during a continued upward pivoting movement of the tension wheel arm ().

Device for operating a track tension wheel

An arrangement for the steering and coupling together of two associated tracked units to form an articulated tracked vehicle set, includes a first upright for releasable coupling to a fixture on one of the tracked units, a second upright for coupling to a fixture on the other tracked unit, a first steering link which is connected in an articulated manner to the first upright about a first horizontal axis and a second steering link which is connected in an articulated manner to the second upright about a second horizontal axis, parallel with the first horizontal axis. The first and second steering links are mutually joined to a steering link unit about a steering pivot with a vertical axis of articulation. Hydraulic ram cylinder units are arranged so as to control relative turning movements between the first upright and the steering link unit, between the second upright and the steering link unit, and between the first and second steering links. The first upright is formed so as to be able to be anchored rigidly in one of the tracked units while the second upright is formed so as to be capable of rotation in bearings in the fixture on the other tracked unit about a longitudinal horizontal axis.
