A switching device for breaking an electric current including a main contact carrier, movable and stationary main contacts, the movable contact attached to the main contact carrier, an arcing contact carrier, a movable and stationary arcing contacts, the movable arcing contact attached to the arcing contact carrier and the stationary arcing contact arranged in parallel with the stationary main contact, and an actuating unit for the main and arcing contact carriers between open and close position at an actuating distance, wherein there are separation distances between the stationary and movable contacts of the main and arcing contact units respectively when the current is interrupted. The switching device further includes a first rack and a first gear for actuating the arcing contact carrier so that, when interrupting the current, a separation distance between the arcing contacts is longer than a separation distance between the main contacts.

Switching device

A low-voltage contactor with an actuating unit, a stationary contact, and a contact carrier operated by the actuating unit and including a movable contact, a spring with a first end and a second end acting on the movable contact to produce a force that reduces the electrical resistance between the contacts, and a connecting means for connecting the contact carrier to the actuating unit. The contact carrier includes a framework part including the connecting means, a holder part including a holding member adapted to receive and hold the movable contact and the spring. The holder part and the framework part are detachably connected to each other and designed so that the first end of the spring is acting on the movable contact held by the holder part and the second end is acting on the framework part when the framework part and the holder part are connected to each other.

Low-voltage contactor

A mechanical switching device including a base member, at least one pair of elongated conductor members mounted on the base member, each conductor member including a conductor end, wherein the conductor ends of the pair of conductor members are separated by a gap, a middle member mounted on the base member, a switch member including a stationary part and a movable part, the movable part including a conductor bridge. The stationary part includes a protruding member protruding away from the direction of displacement of the conductor bridge, wherein the base member, the conductor members, the middle member and the stationary part of the switch member are attached together by means of at least one attachment arrangement formed in the base member, the middle member and the protruding member.

A mechanical switching device including a base member, at least one pair of elongated conductor members mounted on the base member, each conductor member with a conductor end, wherein the conductor ends of the pair of conductor members are separated by a gap, a middle member mounted on the base member, a switch member adapted to establish and disestablish an electrical connection between the conductor ends of the pair of conductor members. Each of the conductor members includes an opening in which a respective protruding part is received. The protruding parts are provided on and extend from the middle member so that the conductor members are electrically isolated and protected from the surrounding environment around the device.

A contactor having electromagnetically operated contacts, wherein main contacts and connections for power supply are arranged in a bottom area of the contactor and contact control means such as electric magnet and coil are arranged above the main contacts. The contactor includes a contactor enclosure being sequentially detachable in two dependent, successive steps through a locking element utilized by both.steps, such that in a first step access is provided to the contactor main contacts, and in a second step access is provided to the electric magnet and coil. The locking element is formed to engage a first and second arresting seat defined in the contactor enclosure. The arresting seats are arranged to urge the locking element into engagement with the second arresting seat as the locking element is released from engagement with the first arresting seat.

Contactor

A contact element of a relay, operative for closing and breaking a power supply circuit, respectively, and comprising a contact element ( ) for establishing a current path over a pair of connection means ( ) in the circuit closing mode, the contact element being received in a socket ( ) that is arranged to be movable relative to the relay, and a spring element ( ) is operative for holding the contact element in the socket such that the contact element is detachable from the socket against the action of said spring element, in a circuit breaking mode.
