Provided is a clutch engaging arrangement for a clutch of a transmission arrangement. The clutch engaging arrangement includes a spring-loaded connecting rod having a connecting portion arranged at a distance from an engaging member of the clutch engaging arrangement when the engaging member assumes the first disengaged position.

The wheel hub arrangement is provided with a planetary gear train including: a centrally arranged sun gear wheel fixed to a drive shaft that extends in an axial direction of the wheel hub arrangement; a set of planet gear wheels distributed circumferentially around and meshing with the sun gear wheel; a ring gear wheel member extending circumferentially around the planet gear wheels and being provided with a ring gear wheel meshing with the planet gear wheels; a stationary planet wheel carrier; an annular rolling-element bearing arranged between the ring gear wheel member and the planet wheel carrier, wherein the ring gear wheel member is configured to be fixed to the driving wheel of the vehicle.

A wheel hub unit is provided including at least one planetary gear set, including a sun gear, one set of planet gears, a carrier, and a ring gear, wherein each of the planet gears of the set of planet gears is provided with an engagement arrangement adapted for engagement with a corresponding engagement arrangement of the ring gear, wherein the engagement is provided at an engagement area in which the engagement arrangement of the planet gears overlap the engagement arrangement of the ring gear, a bearing, including an inner bearing ring, an outer bearing ring and rolling elements, wherein the inner bearing ring constitutes the ring gear of the planetary gear set, and wherein a center of each of the respective rolling elements is axially displaced in relation to the engagement area. A vehicle including such a wheel hub unit is also provided.

A method for controlling gear shifting of a working machine includes determining a representation of a first total tractive force of the working machine for the entire set of drive units; initiating a procedure for redistributing the tractive force while maintaining the first total tractive force, including decreasing, at least partly towards a level suitable for shifting gear, the torque and tractive force of at least the first drive unit down, and increasing, in a compensational manner, the torque and tractive force of at least one of the other drive units not subject to gear shifting; monitoring, during the redistribution procedure, a representation of a second total tractive force of the working machine for the other drive units not subject to gear shifting, and, provided that the second total tractive force exceeds a threshold limit that forms a function of the first total tractive force: decreasing the torque and tractive force of at least the first drive unit down to the level suitable for shifting gear and performing gear shifting for at least the first drive unit.

A continuously variable transmission includes a variator unit having a variator input shaft and a variator output shaft; a first planetary gear set having a first, a second and a third planetary member, the first planetary member being one of a ring wheel and a planet carrier, the second planetary member being the other one of the ring wheel and the planet carrier, and the third planetary member being a sun wheel, wherein the first planetary member of the first planetary gear set is operatively connected to a transmission input shaft; and a second planetary gear set having a sun wheel, a ring wheel and a planet carrier, the planet carrier being operatively connected to a transmission output shaft; wherein the variator input shaft is operatively connected to the second planetary member of the first planetary gear set; the variator output shaft is operatively connected to the sun wheel of the first planetary gear set, the sun wheel of the first planetary gear set being further operatively connected to the sun wheel of the second planetary gear set while having a variable gear ratio between the transmission input shaft and the transmission output shaft; and the ring wheel of the second planetary gear set being selectively connectable to the second planetary member of the first planetary gear set and to a gearbox housing of the continuously variable transmission.

Continuously variable transmission and a working machine including a continuously variable transmission

A continuously variable transmission includes a variator unit having a variator input shaft and a variator output shaft, and a first, a second, a third and a fourth planetary gear set, wherein each of the first and second planetary gear sets has a first member operatively connected to a common transmission input shaft, which transmission input shaft is common to the first and second gear sets, and a second member operatively connected to an output shaft, which output shaft is common to the first and second gear sets. Each of the first and second planetary gear sets further includes a third member, and the third planetary gear set has a first, a second and a third member.

A continuously variable transmission has an input shaft and an output shaft. The transmission includes a variator unit having an input shaft and an output shaft, and a planetary gear wheel unit having a planet carrier, a first sun wheel and a second sun wheel. A continuously variable transmission includes a variator unit having a variator input shaft and a variator output shaft, and first, second and third planetary gear sets. The first and second planetary gear sets are arranged together and each includes a first member operatively connected to a common transmission input shaft and a second member operatively connected to a common output shaft, each of the first and second planetary gear sets further including a third member. The third planetary gear set has a first, second and third member. The variator input shaft is operatively connected to the third member of the second planetary gear set and the variator output shaft is operatively connected to the third member of the first planetary gear set. The second member of the third planetary gear set is selectively connectable to the third member of the second planetary gear set and selectively connectable to the transmission housing. A hub unit includes an electric machine adapted for driving a wheel. The hub unit includes at least two planetary gears coupled in series between the electric machine and a wheel hub, and a gear shifting device for connecting and disconnecting, respectively, one of the planetary gears from being drivingly connected to the electric machine.
