Disclosed is a marine environment display device for georeferencing an image stream of a marine environment captured by a camera. The marine environment display device may comprise an image receiver configured to receive an image of the image stream from the camera, a location receiver configured to receive an object location of an object, an image generator configured to generate, from the image, a projected image having location information associated with each of a plurality of points on the projected image and corresponding to a camera position and field of view of the camera, an object generator configured to generate an object indicator at a position on the projected image based on the object location and the location information, and a display configured to display the projected image and the object indicator at the position on the projected image.

Marine environment display device

A display device for controlling a remotely controlled camera is disclosed. The display device comprising an image receiver configured to receive an image of the image stream from the camera, and a processor. The processor including a retriever configured to retrieve a selected buffered image corresponding to a data insufficiency region within a target field of view while adjusting the camera from a current field of view to the target field of view until the image stream from the camera includes the insufficiency region being depicted within the target field of view and a depicter configured to depict the selected buffered image on the display device at least in the insufficiency region.

A method for redrawing a sensing image when a range is or has been changed, according to one aspect of the present invention, records the sensing image and outputs the sensing image to a display; records additional information displayed upon a screen and outputs the additional information to the display; computes a new image from the recorded sensing image using an image manipulation computer function, so that the computed image fits a new scale of the changed range, and recording the computed image; and computes changes to the recorded additional information to adjust the additional information to the new scale of the changed range, and records the computed additional information.
