An off-road vehicle has: a frame including a rollover protection structure; two front wheels operatively connected to the frame; two rear wheels operatively connected to the frame; at least one seat supported by the frame; an internal combustion engine supported by the frame, being disposed rearward of the at least one seat, and being operatively connected at least one of: the two rear wheels, and the two front wheels; an engine air intake system fluidly connected to the engine for supplying air to the engine; and an air intake conduit having a conduit inlet and a conduit outlet, the conduit outlet being fluidly connected to the engine air intake system for supplying air to the engine air intake system, the conduit inlet being disposed at least in part vertically higher than the rollover protection structure.

Off-road vehicle air intake system

An off-road vehicle has: a frame including a rollover protection structure (ROPS); four wheels; at least one seat; an internal combustion engine operatively connected at least two of the wheels; a windshield movably connected to the ROPS, the windshield being movable between lowered and raised positions. The windshield defines at least one of: a windshield recess in a top edge of the windshield, and a windshield aperture near the top edge. An air intake conduit has a conduit inlet and a conduit outlet fluidly connected to an engine air intake system. The conduit inlet faces generally forward and is disposed at least in part vertically higher than the windshield in the lowered position. In the raised position of the windshield, air flows through the at least one of the windshield recess and the windshield aperture to be supplied to the conduit inlet of the air intake conduit.

A vehicle includes: a frame including a roll cage, a motor connected to the frame, a driver seat connected to the frame, and a roof extending at least in part above the driver seat. The roof includes an upper surface and a lower surface. At least part of the roof is pivotably connected to the roll cage about a roof pivot axis so that the at least part of the roof is pivotable from a closed position to an open position. In the closed position, the at least part of the roof covers a roof opening defined by the roll cage, and in the open position, the at least part of the roof at least partly exposes the roof opening.

A ram air vent for a vehicle has a base defining a base aperture therein; a hood connected to the base over the base aperture, the hood and base defining a forwardly facing air inlet therebetween, the hood and the base defining an air passage extending from the air inlet to the base aperture; a baffle disposed in the air passage for deflecting air flowing in the air passage from the air inlet for separating water from air flowing in the air passage, the baffle facing the air inlet; and at least one water passage defined in at least one of the base or the hood. The at least one water passage exits a rear side of the ram air vent. The at least one water passage drains water separated from air flowing in the air passage from the ram air vent.
