A melt spinning device for producing synthetic threads includes at least a spinneret apparatus, a cooling apparatus, a processing apparatus and a winding apparatus. An automatic operating device is provided for carrying out at least one operator action. The automatic operating device has at least one movable robotic arm, which can be coupled selectively to one of a plurality of exchangeable tools in order to selectively carry out a plurality of operator actions during a start-up and/or during a maintenance interval and/or during thread production. Thus, a high level of flexibility in the automated operation of the melt spinning device is ensured.

Melt spinning device

A plurality of colored filament bundles are initially extruded separately, cooled and each combined into a partial thread. The partial threads are then separately pre-swirled and stretched individually or as a partial composite thread formed from a plurality of partial threads. Crimping then occurs. After the crimping, the partial threads and the partial composite thread are combined into a composite thread and wound into a coil. In accordance with certain techniques, a melt spinning apparatus has a pre-swirling apparatus having a plurality of swirling nozzles, a post-swirling device having a plurality of post-swirling nozzles and a crimping device having a plurality of texturing nozzles, wherein the nozzles are designed such that an individual partial thread or a partial composite thread formed from a plurality of partial threads can optionally be processed.

Method and melt spinning apparatus for producing a crimped, multicolored composite thread

Techniques are directed to melt spinning, drawing, crimping and winding multiple threads. The threads are spun from a plurality of spinnerets of a spinning device and are drawn as a thread group by a drawing device and are subsequently fed for crimping next to one another to a plurality of texturing units. In order to obtain identical treatment of all threads within the thread group, the threads are guided individually with a plurality of wraps next to one another on a godet unit and, after running off from the godet unit, are guided in a straight thread run parallel next to one another into the texturing units. To this end, adjacent texturing units of the crimping device form a treatment spacing between themselves which is such that, in the case of being guided individually with a plurality of wraps on the godet unit, the threads can be guided in parallel in a straight thread run.

Method and device for melt-spinning, drawing, crimping and winding multiple threads

Various techniques involve a device for entangling a plurality of individual threads of a composite thread in a melt-spinning process for the production of crimped yarns. The device to this end has a plurality of entanglement nozzles which are collectively held on a support. In order to enable a flexible utilization of the entanglement nozzles and of thread guiding, the entanglement nozzles on the support are assigned at least one thread guide in such a manner that the threads are guidable optionally in the entanglement nozzles and/or in the thread guide.

Device for entangling a plurality of individual threads of a composite thread

An apparatus feeds a plurality of threads to rotating godets of a melt spinning machine including a manual injector (e.g., a main manual injector) and a cutting device. In order to be able to selectively feed the threads individually or as a bunch, a transfer device and a second manual injector (e.g., an auxiliary manual injector) are associated with the manual injector.

Apparatus for feeding a plurality of threads

A device for pneumatically conveying and guiding a multifilament thread has a closed conveying channel which has a thread inlet opening at one end and a thread outlet opening at the opposite end. An injector zone having at least one compressed air channel which opens into the conveying channel is formed between the thread inlet opening and the thread outlet opening, wherein the compressed air channel can be connected to a compressed air source. In order to avoid blowing air from flowing back from the injector zone at the thread inlet opening, a return flow channel is formed in a channel section of the conveying channel between the thread inlet opening and the opening of the compressed air channel, which return flow channel connects the conveying channel to ambient atmosphere.

Device for pneumatically conveying and guiding a multifilament thread

Techniques produce intertwining knots in a multifilament thread. In such techniques, an air stream pulse is generated by a nozzle channel opening into a treatment channel periodically with an interval between successive air stream pulses. During an interval, the air stream pulse is directed transversely onto the thread guided in the treatment channel so that a continuous sequence of intertwining knots is produced in the running thread. An auxiliary air stream is generated continuously or discontinuously and the auxiliary air stream and the air stream pulse are blown in together into the treatment channel.

Method and device for producing intertwining knots

A method and an apparatus produces intertwining knots in a multifilament thread. In this case, an air-stream pulse is directed through a nozzle opening transversely onto the thread. In order to produce a continuous succession of intertwining knots, the air-stream pulse is produced periodically with an interval between the air-stream pulses. In order to be able to produce an irregular thread structure, the interval between successive air-stream pulses is continuously changed. To this end, the apparatus has a nozzle ring carrying the nozzle opening, the nozzle ring being coupled to a drive. The drive of the nozzle ring is assigned a control device, by way of which a rotary speed of the nozzle ring is controllable for the purpose of changing an interval between the air-stream pulses.

Method and apparatus for producing intertwined knots in a multifilament thread

A method and a device for crimping a multifilament thread are described. The thread is blown by means of a transport nozzle through a compressed air stream guided in a thread channel into a gas-permeable compression chamber. Inside the compression chamber, the thread is compressed to form a thread plug, which is then continuously removed through an outlet of the compression chamber. The compression and the removal of the thread plug are monitored by measuring the pressure of the compressed air stream. According to the invention, a plurality of pressures of the compressed air stream in the compression chamber are measured at a plurality of measurement points distributed over the length of the compression chamber for monitoring the thread plug formation in order to perform the compressing and cooling of the thread plug with a uniform filling of the compression chamber.

Method and device for crimping a multifilament thread

A crimping apparatus for crimping a filament bundle in a melt spinning process includes a conveyor nozzle and a stuffer box which is associated with the conveyor nozzle. For thermal processing, a processing unit, which includes a rotatable processing drum which, for guiding and temperature control of a thread plug, has a rotating drum wall, is disposed downstream of the stuffer box. In order to be able to carry out as gentle a processing of the thread plug as possible, the stuffer box is disposed axially parallel to the processing drum in such a manner that the thread plug can be infed in a straight run from a plug outlet of the stuffer box to the circumference of the drum wall. This allows the naturally acting weight force of the thread plug to be advantageously used for guiding the thread plug.

Crimping apparatus

A method and a device for producing a crimped multifilament thread are described. A multiplicity of filaments are extruded by means of a spinning machine, cooled and subsequently treated by a drawing device and a crimping device to form a crimped thread. Before the thread is wound up to form a bobbin, a multiplicity of intertwining knots is produced on the crimped thread by a treatment device. In order to obtain defined patterns of the intertwining knots within the thread, a pulse sequence of compressed air pulses at a predefined frequency is directed at the thread. The treatment device has a controllable blowing means.

Method and device for producing a crimped multifilament thread

The invention relates to a process for melt-spinning, drawing and winding multiple synthetic threads and to an apparatus for performing the process. The synthetic threads are spun concurrently side by side through extrusion of fine filamentous strands, cooled down and hauled off to be then collectively drawn as a sheet of threads and wound up on bobbins. To obtain ideally identical physical properties in the collective treatment of the threads, the threads are hauled off independently of each other by separate individual godets after extrusion and before collective drawing. This makes it possible to realize for each thread the same conditions during extrusion, cooling and hauling off. The apparatus includes multiple individual godets arranged side by side, which are arranged upstream of the drawing facility and are each associated with one of the threads. To pull off the threads, the individual godets are configured to be individually driveable.

Apparatus for melt-spinning, drawing and winding multiple synthetic threads

The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a crimped composite thread, wherein the inventive method consists in extruding, cooling and in drawing several yarns in the form of a plurality of strand filaments and in jointly crimping them in order to obtain a crimped composite thread. The aim of said invention is to make it possible to pre-treat the threads in a manner adaptable to each treatment step. The aim is attained by that at least one multi-treaded yarn is whirl-tangled many times during several operations prior to crimping. For this purpose, a whirl-tangling device provided with a plurality of whirl-tangling units following each other in a direction of the yarn displacement is used.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing a crimped compound thread

The exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS.toof the device according to the invention is by way of example with respect to the structure and arrangement of the individual assemblies. In principle, it is also possible for the godet assigned to the texturing unitto guide the threads only with a single partial looping. The invention is thus particularly suitable for producing a uniform crimp on each tread in a thread group of a plurality of threads. The number of threads within the thread group is shown by way of example with three threads. The tread group can contain two or more threads. The invention is particularly advantageous in the use of what are known as twist texturing nozzles, in which a twist is produced on the incoming thread. By avoiding friction points and deflections, and identical effect of the twist can be obtained on each of the supplied threads. In addition, very compact arrangements can be realized, since the texturing nozzles can be arranged at a relatively short distance downstream of the godet. Minimum distances for maintaining maximum angles of deflection are not necessary. Thus, even relatively large differences between guiding distance and the treatment distance can be realized at a short distance between the godet and the texturing unit.

Device for guiding and texturing a plurality of synthetic threads

A device for producing interlaced knots in a multifilament thread is described. The device includes a rotating nozzle ring having a circumferential guide groove and a plurality of nozzle bores opening radially into the base of the guide groove. A stationary pressure chamber, having a chamber opening and an air connection, is associated with the nozzle ring, wherein by rotation of the nozzle ring the nozzle bores can be connected in turn to the chamber opening of the pressure chamber. To permit an intensive air treatment of the thread, the dimension of the chamber opening in the pressure chamber and the spacing of adjacent nozzle bores on the nozzle ring are designed such that as the nozzle ring rotates a plurality of nozzle bores are simultaneously connected to the chamber opening.
