In an apparatus for separating parts arranged for example in at least two adjacent rows and including a transfer device, which is provided with at least two holding elements which pick up the parts in a first position and deposit them in a second position, guide tracks are provided by which the distance at which the holding elements are disposed adjacent one another is changeable during the transport of the parts from the first position to the second position.

Apparatus for separating parts

To embroider combination patterns composed of partial patterns on sewing or embroidering machines with a driven embroidery frame, a common sewing stitch each, which is used as a hooking point, is located outside the contour of the pattern, and whose connection threads to the pattern proper are removed after finishing the second partial pattern, is formed at the end of the first partial pattern and at the beginning of the second partial pattern for the exact positioning of the partial patterns.

Process for embroidering oversized patterns

An embroidery frame, comprising a closed inner frame and an outer frame open at a point and a clamping device provided on the outer frame with one laterally projecting projection each at each of the two ends of the outer frame. A stud is provided that can be fixed at one projection and a screwing device is provided that cooperates with the stud and is supported at the other projection. The stud is displaceably guided within one projection at a closely spaced location from the outside of the frame and is supported with a head on a stop face of the projection. The other end of the stud is rigidly connected to a sliding block, which is longitudinally displaceably accommodated within a guide provided in the other projection. A tie rod is led out of the other projection extending obliquely toward the outside of the frame. The tie rod is pivotably arranged at the sliding block. The screw device is formed by a collet, which is arranged on the threaded section of the tie rod and is supported on a shoulder of the other projection. The shoulder extends essentially at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the said tie rod.

Embroidery frame with a clamping device

A device is provided for detachably fastening an embroidery frame, slidingly arranged on a support surface, to a drive member of a feed mechanism of a sewing or embroidery machine. The device includes a coupling device acting in a positive-locking manner and nonpositively acting locking device. Two coupling pins, which are located at mutually spaced locations from one another in the horizontal direction and carry a head each, are fastened to the said embroidery frame. A holding element is fastened to the drive member and contains two elongated holes, which extend in parallel to the said support surface of the machine and whose height corresponds to the diameter of the said coupling pins. A free space is provided in the area of the elongated holes for the heads of the said coupling pins. The elongated holes are offset in relation to one another in the parallel direction at right angles to their longitudinal extension and have a hole each for the entry and withdrawal of the said coupling pins, which take place at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the pin. A spring element is provided including a handle. The spring element can be moved to and fro between two end positions. The spring element snaps into a depression provided on the embroidery frame when the said embroidery frame is inserted with the said coupling pins into the said elongated holes.
