A hydraulically damping bearing bush, particularly for motor vehicles, includes a hollow-cylindrical bearing core having ends with end surfaces and an outer tube having end surfaces. Two elastomeric support springs have a space therebetween and are disposed between the bearing core and the outer tube at the end surfaces. The support springs extend substantially radially and have inwardly curved wall portions. Elastomeric radial support lugs extend horizontally on two sides between the bearing core and the outer tube. The support lugs divide the space into upper and lower fluid-filled chambers. The chambers communicate with one another through an annular channel. A cylindrical diaphragm-like elastomeric part extends between the two support springs along the bearing core. The elastomeric support springs, support lugs and part are made as an integral molded and vulcanized part. Radially extending, bead-like stop rings are disposed on the ends of the bearing core in the vicinity of the inwardly curving wall portions.

An active elastic mount for the insulated mounting of an assembly affected by vibration, in particular an internal combustion engine in a motor vehicle, includes an active decoupling system disposed on an insulated side of the mount. The active decoupling system has a permanent magnetic field. A coil vibrates in the permanent magnetic field. A decoupler mass is coupled to the coil for high-frequency vibration. A sensor detects predetermined operating parameters as a function of which the decoupler mass can be set into vibration electrodynamically. Two radially rigid, mutually parallel spring systems extend transversely to the coil and elastically suspend the coil for exact vertical guidance of the coil.

A hydraulically damping two-chamber engine mount includes chambers being bordered with rubber-elastic material and an intermediate plate with an overflow conduit and a central diaphragm. For force-free motion of the diaphragm in the vertical direction, the diaphragm is constructed as a rolling diaphragm, in such a way that a conduit of reduced width at the top and bottom is provided between the diaphragm of rigid material and the intermediate plate surrounding it annularly. In the conduit, on the opposed conduit walls, rolling elements with a circular cross section are inserted for rolling support of the diaphragm.

A method for varying the spring rigidity of an elastomer engine mount, such as for motor vehicles, includes bringing one of two at least intermittently simultaneously loadable parallel-connected spring bodies into continuous engagement with supports and bringing the other of the two spring bodies into intermittent contact with supports as a function of predetermined operating parameters, for absorbing induced forces in parallel with the two spring bodies. The other spring is connected in parallel with a force brought to bear separately from the outside for causing it to contact its supports. An elastic engine mount for motor vehicles includes a hollow-cylindrical spring body and a solid-cylindrical spring body disposed concentrically relative to one another between an engine mount plate and a support plate to be fixed to a vehicle body. According to one embodiment, a diaphragm is disposed between the lower end surface of the solid-cylindrical spring body and the support plate for defining a hollow chamber between the diaphragm and the support plate. The hollow chamber operatively connects the solid-cylindrical spring body with the plates upon forced introduction of hydraulic fluid into the hollow chamber. According to another embodiment, a mechanical plunger is disposed between the lower end surface of the solid-cylindrical spring body and the support plate. A threaded bolt engages the mechanical plunger. A control motor drives the threaded bolt and operatively connects the solid-cylindrical spring body with the plates.
