A magnetic resonance apparatus, for acquiring magnetic resonance data from a person who is asleep, includes a person support apparatus to provide a sleeping place; an acquisition arrangement including a radiofrequency coil arrangement for transmitting excitation pulses and for receiving magnetic resonance signals; and a controller, designed to operate the acquisition arrangement according to a magnetic resonance sequence for acquiring a magnetic resonance dataset from a region under examination of the person. The magnetic resonance apparatus includes a main magnetic field of strength less than 20 mT, in particular less than 10 mT, and the controller includes an acquisition unit for acquiring a magnetic resonance dataset via a prolonged magnetic resonance sequence having a total acquisition duration of more than one hour.

Magnetic resonance apparatus and method for operating a magnetic resonance apparatus, computer program and electronically readable data storage medium

In a method and apparatus for generating a magnetic resonance (MR) image data set of a target region, MR data for a first number of slices are recorded and the recording of MR data for a second number, which is smaller than or equal to the first number, of different slices takes place simultaneously. A separation algorithm of the parallel imaging is used to determine MR data that are assigned to individual slices from the multi-slice data set produced during the simultaneous recording of the multiple slices. This separation algorithm uses input parameters determined from a calibration data set of the target region, the calibration data set being recorded in a reference scan, after which the MR image data set is reconstructed from the MR data assigned to individual slices, wherein at least part of the calibration data set is also used for reconstructing the MR image data set.

Method and apparatus for generating a magnetic resonance image data set

An RF pulse alignment method for determining transmit scaling factors used in the control of a magnetic resonance system having a number of radiofrequency transmit channels, via which RF pulse trains are transmitted in parallel during operation, is provided. A common reference pulse train is specified for a number of the radiofrequency transmit channels in the course of the control function. A plurality of candidate images of an object that is to be examined are acquired using different candidate sets of transmit scaling factors. Optimal transmit scaling factors with respect to a predefined criterion are selected for each of the radiofrequency transmit channels based on the acquired candidate images.

RF pulse alignment

An imaging medical diagnosis apparatus has a display and operating device in which raw data of a region of an examination subject to be images can be stored, and an actuator with which a grouping of raw data can be defined, displayable at the display and operating device. In a method for operating a magnetic resonance apparatus at least two raw data sets divided into segments are generated in a time sequence from the same region of an examination subject and are stored in the diagnosis apparatus, and segments from both raw datasets that have been generated during a selectable time span of the time sequence are grouped to form a further raw dataset.

Imaging medical diagnosis apparatus and method for the operation of a magnetic resonance apparatus

A medical diagnostic imaging apparatus has a support device for the displacement of an examination subject positioned thereon in at least one displacement direction, a control device for the control of the displacements of the support device, an actuation device that is encompassed by the support device, that is oblong with reference to the displacement direction and that is actuatable at points at least in the displacement direction; and a setting device that encompasses the actuation device and that is connected to the control device for positioning a prescribable region to be imaged in the examination subject in an imaging volume of the apparatus on the basis of a displacement of the bearing device. The region to be imaged can be prescribed by an actuation of the actuation device at one of the points, whose position with respect to the oblong actuation device corresponds to a position of the region to be imaged within the examination subject in the displacement direction.

Medical diagnostic imaging apparatus

A medical diagnostic imaging device has a support device, which, for positioning a fixable area of an examination subject to be imaged in an imaging volume of the device, is fashioned for moving the examination subject thereon in at least one moving direction, a control device for controlling the movement of the support device, a pointer device, which, for prescribing the area to be imaged, is fashioned for pointing to the area to be imaged, and an detection device, acquires the spatial position of the pointer device at least in the moving direction and which is connected to the control device for positioning the area to be imaged that is prescribed by the pointer device.
