There is provided an apparatus arranged to receive from at least one access node a first spatial relation indication for a first transmission to be made in a first direction; receive from the at least one access node a second spatial relation indication for a second transmission to be made in a second direction; receive from the at least one access node a third indication indicating whether the second spatial relation indication is to be used for a limited duration; and use the received indications for receiving and/or transmitting signalling with at the least one access node.

Apparatus, methods, and computer programs

The present disclosure relates generally to the field of wireless communications and, in particular, to techniques for issuing criteria-based retransmission grants for pending Media Access Control (MAC) Protocol Data Units (PDUs) generated and buffered in a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network. In particular, the UE is configured with at least one criterion for determining which of the pending MAC PDUs stored in the UE (e.g., in the HARQ buffers) could be transmitted by using radio resources of a retransmission grant issued by a network node. In other words, the UE should determine whether at least one of the pending MAC PDUs meets the at least one criterion. The at least one criterion may be signalled to the UE either in the retransmission grant or independently from the retransmission grant. If none of the pending MAC PDUs meets the at least one criterion, it is also allowed to apply the at least one criterion to a new MAC PDU, thereby making it possible to use the retransmission grant issued by the network node as a new transmission grant (provided that the new MAC PDU meets the at least one criterion). Thus, by using such a retransmission grant, it is possible to provide efficient MAC PDU recovery and resource usage.

Criteria-based retransmission grants for pending media access control protocol data units

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to applying timing advance during random access procedure. The first apparatus transmits, to a first apparatus, a channel state information (CSI) report configuration comprising a first sub-configuration and a second sub-configuration; and receives, from the first apparatus and based at least in part on the first and second first priority reporting levels, a CSI report associated with at least one of the first sub-configuration or the second sub-configuration. Impacts to the other CSI reporting caused by introducing the sub-configuration would be minimized.

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for enabling beam diversity for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition under multi-transmission points (TRP). A method may include receiving, from a network, a configuration with at least one time offset to account for at least one delay on switching from one transmit beam to another transmit beam, wherein the configuration defines at least one rule applicable to the at least one time offset. The method may also include determining a need for the at least one time offset between consecutive repetitions based on the configuration and the use of transmit beams for the consecutive repetitions. The method may further include applying, based on the determination, the at least one time offset between the consecutive repetitions. Further, a time domain allocation of at least one repetition of the consecutive repetitions may be changed to accommodate the at least one time offset.

Enabling beam diversity for physical uplink shared channel repetition

The method further comprises starting monitoring reception of a downlink channel on the secondary semi persistent scheduling configuration, if the examination indicates an unsuccessful decoding of the transport block.

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for enhanced handling time alignment timer at transmission configuration indicator state switch are provided. For example, a method can include performing a transmission configuration indicator state switch to a network element. The method can also include determining whether an uplink timing is aligned with respect to the network element. The method can further include determining whether a random access channel procedure is needed to adjust uplink timing in response to the determining that the uplink timing is not aligned. Enhanced time alignment timer at transmission configuration indicator state switch

The present disclosure relates to a solution on cell off indication via DCI. In particular, a group common DCI format is used to indicate an activation/deactivation of the cell off for entering network energy saving mode. DCI in the group common DCI format may include separate bits for a first indication regarding the activation/deactivation of the cell off for entering network energy saving mode and a second indication regarding the activation/deactivation of cell DTX/DRX. Alternatively, the DCI may include common bits for the first and second indications with a flag to indicate which indication. In this way, the cell off for entering network energy saving mode can be indicated more efficiently.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for handling expiry of at least one time alignment timer (TAT) of multiple timing advance groups (TAGs) associated with a serving cell. In an example method, the terminal device receives determines at least two TAGs for a serving cell, wherein the at least two TAGs comprise a primary TAG and a secondary TAG. The terminal device determines whether at least one TAT of the at least two TAGs has expired and maintain, based on determining that the at least one TAT has expired, one of the primary TAG and the secondary TAG. In this way, only a single TAG is maintained once the terminal device has single TAT/no TAT running removing ambiguities in RA procedure/UL signal transmissions. Since the network is aware of the TAT expiry, it knows behaviour of the terminal device and can act accordingly.

Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose devices, methods and apparatuses for spatial adaption. A terminal device obtains a spatial pattern configuration of reference signal transmission from a network device. The spatial pattern configuration is indicative of whether a plurality of spatial patterns have different energy levels. The terminal device then transmits a measurement report to a network device.
