A head mounted display includes a non-transmissive display for displaying a VR image, a camera, and a controller, the controller analyzing a captured image generated by the camera while a user is experiencing VR contents, and when it is determined from the captured image that the user is holding an information processor, causing a non-transmissive display to superimpose the VR image and an image of the information processor and display them.

An augmented reality (AR) display device includes a camera that captures a background image; a distance measuring sensor that measures a distance to a real object in the background image; a position and orientation sensor that detects the position of the camera and the shooting direction of the camera; a controller that recognizes the real object from the background image captured by the camera and associates the predetermined AR object with the recognized real object; a display displaying an image of the associated AR object; and a memory that stores data of the real object and the AR object associated with each other. The controller determines whether or not the real object is movable from the measurement result of the distance measuring sensor, and arranges the AR object according to the current position of the real object when the position of the real object associated with the AR object moves.

Augmented reality display device and augmented reality display method

An image display apparatus includes a camera, a distance measurement sensor, an illuminance sensor, a brightness/darkness determinator, an image generator, an image storage, an image retriever, a visual image decider, and a display. The camera captures an image of a real object in front of a user to obtain a camera image. The image generator generates a distance image which corresponds to the camera image and represents a distance to each position of the real object based on data of the distance measurement sensor. The brightness/darkness determinator determines whether a place in which the user is present is a bright place or a dark place based on data of the illuminance sensor. The image storage stores the camera image and the distance image obtained in the bright place as a set.

Image display apparatus and image display system

The MR display device includes a controller and a display unit. The controller recognizes a reality object from a reality video imaged by a camera and links a predetermined virtual object to the reality object based on an operation of an experiencing person. The display unit displays a video of the linked virtual object. The controller acquires a recognition result of a reality object generated by the other MR display device and data of the linked virtual object, via a communication unit, synthesizes the acquired data and the own data, and displays a video obtained by the synthesis on the display unit. In addition, the controller allows an edit of the virtual object linked to the reality object on the video displayed on the display unit, based on an operation of the experiencing person.

Mixed reality display device and mixed reality display method

A virtual reality sharing system comprises a VR-server that composites a plurality of camera-captured videos obtained by capturing videos of a same real space from different viewpoints to create a VR video, an AR-server that draws and creates an AR object (ARO), and a viewer virtual reality sharing terminal (terminal), wherein the VR server, the AR-server, and the terminal being communicatively connected via a network, wherein an input interface of the terminal accepts a setting input operation about a viewer's viewpoint for taking in the VR video, the terminal transmits data indicating a position and direction of the viewer's viewpoint to the VR-server and the AR-server, receives the VR video and drawing data of the ARO viewed as seen from the viewer's viewpoint from each of the VR-server and the AR-server, superimposes the ARO on the received VR video, and displays the superimposed VR video on the display of the terminal.

Virtual reality sharing method and system

A head-mounted display comprises: a camera that captures an image of the real space and acquires captured video; a distance-measuring camera that measures a distance from a real object in the real space; and a controller. The controller comprises: captured object processing for recognizing the real object from the captured video; AR object processing for obtaining the AR object and assigning a position, which includes a distance in the real space, to the AR object, and displayed video generation processing for generating displayed video in the MR space while reflecting the perspective of the real object and the AR object in the video. The controller is further provided with: processing for detecting an operation-screen display object from the captured video; and processing for displaying an MR-space operation screen on the operation-screen display object. Video on the operation screen includes the AR object in the MR space.

Head-mounted display

A mount type device includes a camera configured to photograph a work site in a wider range than a visual field of a worker; a sensor configured to obtain a visual line of the worker; and a visual line movement detector configured to detect, as visual line movement information, movement of a direction of the visual line of the worker by using the sensor information. The mount type device transmits data on the photographed image and the visual line movement information to an operation instructing apparatus via a network. An operation instructing apparatus includes a display setter configured to extract a first image having a wider range than a visual field range of the worker from the image photographed by the camera, correct the first image using the visual line movement information, and cause a display of the corrected first image; and an instruction image is generated for the worker.

Remote operation instructing system, and mount type device

A watching monitoring apparatus includes a monitoring camera and a home server, and monitors a watching space in which a watched person exists. The monitoring camera images the watching space. The home server includes a person detector that detects a person from a captured image, and classifies the detected person into a face part and a body part, a processing-drawing part that performs a processing-drawing process with respect to the body part except for the face part, an image synthesizer that creates a synthesized image of an image subjected to the processing-drawing process and the captured image, and a network part through which the synthesized image is transmitted to a display terminal of a watching person. When the detected person has not been registered in face information registration data in which face information of the watched person is registered, the processing-drawing process is not performed with respect to the person.

In a linked display system in which wireless communication connection between a first information device and a second information device has been established, when the first information device transmits text data to the second information device in a state of displaying content containing the text data and image data, the second information device displays the text data while the first information device stops displaying the text data and enlarges and displays the image data.

An information device having a camera and a display is connected to a camera image sharing service providing device by communication means to upload a captured image of the camera and its feature amount and download a captured image of another information device and its feature amount. In addition, the information device is connected to an auto-framing service providing device to download a plurality of framing patterns for combining a plurality of captured images. Framing means of the information device calculates the feature amount of the captured image of the camera, selects one framing pattern from the plurality of downloaded framing patterns based on the calculated feature amount and the downloaded feature amount of the captured image of another information device, and combines the captured images of the camera and another information device. The captured images that have been combined are displayed on the display.

Information device and camera image sharing system

Terahertz wave detection equipment comprises: a terahertz wave transceiver including a transmitter for transmitting a terahertz wave and a receiver for receiving a reflected terahertz wave reflected by a background reflected object which exists behind an object to be analyzed; a display; and an information processing apparatus, wherein the transmitter irradiates a terahertz wave based on a transmission signal including a specific frequency toward a two-dimensional area including the object to be analyzed, and the information processing apparatus is configured to analyze concentration of the object to be analyzed based on the reflected terahertz wave and generate a composite image in which a concentration image of the object to be analyzed is combined with an image of the background reflected object.
