An elevator device including on-car presence detection units, each being configured to detect presence of a person on top of a corresponding one of cars, on-car operation panels, each to be operated for a manual operation of the corresponding one of cars, and an elevator control device including a car operation approval unit configured to approve or cancel the operation on the on-car operation panels. When the on-car presence detection units have detected the presence of persons on top of the plurality of cars, the operation on the on-car operation panels of all the cars is canceled by the car operation approval unit. When the on-car presence detection unit has detected the presence of a person on top of one of the plurality of cars, the car operation approval unit approves the operation on the on-car operation panel of any one of the plurality of cars.

Elevator device

This invention is concerning an elevator apparatus, in which a safety monitoring device corrects a detected car position using a signal from a car position detection device and monitors the presence or absence of car overspeed on the basis of an overspeed detection pattern that varies in accordance with car position. The car position detection device includes a first car position detection sensor and a second car position detection sensor which are arranged side by side in a vertical direction. The safety monitoring device performs, in parallel, first overspeed monitoring based on a car position corrected using a signal from the first car position detection sensor and second overspeed monitoring based on a car position corrected using a signal from the second car position detection sensor.

Elevator apparatus

An elevator device includes: a controller and an emergency terminal speed-limiting device to decelerate a car when speed of the car within a predetermined certain distance from an terminal end section of a shaft is detected to have reached or exceeded an overspeed reference. The overspeed reference is set smaller as a distance of the car from the terminal end section of the shaft decreases. The controller includes: a lower deceleration limit determination controller to determine a lower deceleration limit at which the speed of the car is caused to be at or below the overspeed reference, based on a position and a speed of the car within the certain distance from the terminal end section of the shaft, and a deceleration controller to control deceleration of the car within the certain distance, in a range greater than the lower deceleration limit determined by the lower deceleration limit determination unit.

In an elevator device, a signal diagnosis device includes: a signal input section to which a sensor signal from a sensor is input; a disconnection detecting section for outputting a diagnosis signal for detecting disconnection to the sensor and detecting a state of a signal turned back at the sensor to be input so as to detect whether or not disconnection of the signal from the sensor occurs; a switch for turning ON/OFF an input of the signal to the disconnection detecting section; and a disconnection-detection diagnosis section for operating the switch to diagnose whether or not the disconnection detecting section functions normally. Further, a car is stopped when occurrence of the disconnection is determined by the signal diagnosis device or when an abnormality is detected by the disconnection-detection diagnosis section.

In an elevator apparatus, an operation control section controls an operation of a car. Further, a safety monitoring section detects an abnormal state of targets to be monitored during running of the car to stop the running of the car. A safety-monitoring-function inspection section inspects a function of the safety monitoring section. The safety-monitoring-function inspection section causes the safety monitoring section to detect a transition of a state of the targets to be monitored to the abnormal state regardless of an actual state of the targets to be monitored while the car is running under control of the operation control section.

Elevator device and method of inspecting same

In an elevator apparatus, a brake device is controlled by a brake control device. The brake control device has a first brake control portion for operating the brake device to stop a car as an emergency measure upon detection of an abnormality, and a second brake control portion for reducing a braking force of the brake device when a deceleration of the car becomes equal to or larger than a predetermined value during emergency braking operation of the first brake control portion. The second brake control portion controls the brake device independently of the first brake control portion.

Elevator apparatus with brake control device

In an elevator apparatus, a brake device stops a car from running. The brake device has a brake control portion for controlling a braking force generated at a time of emergency braking to adjust a deceleration of the car, and a timer circuit for invalidating the control of the braking force performed by the brake control portion after a lapse of a predetermined time from a moment when an emergency braking command is generated.

Elevator apparatus for emergency braking

In an elevator apparatus, a brake device stops a car from running. The brake device has a power shutoff portion for shutting off a supply of power to a brake opening coil in response to a brake actuation command, and a current adjusting portion for supplying the brake opening coil with power while adjusting an amount of current in response to a deceleration reduction command from a brake control portion. The current adjusting portion can supply the brake opening coil with power even when the supply of power to the brake opening coil is shut off by the power shutoff portion.

In an elevator apparatus, a single car is raised and lowered by a plurality of hoisting machines. An elevator control device for controlling the hoisting machines generates speed commands separately for the hoisting machines. When a current value of one of the hoisting machines reaches a current set value, which is set in advance during acceleration of the car, the elevator control device applies the speed command for that one of the hoisting machines, whose current value has reached the current set value, to the other hoisting machine as well.

In an elevator apparatus, a brake device stops a car from running. The brake device can adjust the magnitude of part of a total braking force generated at a time of emergency braking of the car. As an example of the brake device, the brake device has a nonadjustable brake portion for immediately generating a braking force without making an adjustment thereof at the time of emergency braking of the car, and an adjustable brake portion for generating a braking force while making an adjustment thereof at the time of emergency braking of the car.

In an elevator apparatus, a brake control device has a first brake control portion, a second brake control portion, and a third brake control portion. The first brake control portion operates a hoisting machine brake to stop a ascending/descending body as an emergency measure when an abnormality is detected. The second brake control portion reduces a braking force of the hoisting machine brake when a deceleration of the ascending/descending body becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined value during an emergency braking operation of the hoisting machine brake. The third brake control portion monitors a slip speed of a main rope with respect to a drive sheave during emergency braking operation of the hoisting machine brake, and reduces a braking force of the hoisting machine brake when the slip speed of the main rope becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined value.

A control apparatus for an elevator has a speed command issuing portion, a movement control portion, and an acceleration limiting portion. The speed command issuing portion calculates a speed command for controlling a speed of a car. The movement control portion controls a movement of the car based on the speed command. The acceleration limiting portion compares drive information corresponding to an output of a drive device during the movement of the car with a preset limit value to determine whether or not an acceleration of the car can be increased. The speed command issuing portion calculates, based on information from the acceleration limiting portion, a speed command to stop the acceleration from increasing when the drive information reaches the limit value.

Control device for elevator

An elevator control device that drives a cage in a high-efficient speed pattern without using a load detector such as a conventional scale device. The elevator control device includes: a current detector for detecting a current that is supplied to a motor from an inverter; a speed detector for detecting a rotation speed of the motor; a speed pattern generator for generating an elevator speed pattern; a motor speed control device for controlling the speed so that a speed detection value follows a speed command value of the speed pattern; and a motor current control device for controlling a current that is supplied to the motor with respect to the inverter by using a current detection value and the speed detection value on the basis of the speed command value. The motor current control device has a duty detector for detecting a duty that is a ratio of an on-time of the inverter within a given sampling period, and the speed pattern generator changes the speed pattern of the motor based on a duty detection value detected by the duty detector.
