According to one embodiment, a pressure detection device includes a buffer layer formed of an elastic material and including a press surface including a biaxially curved surface and an installation surface including a uniaxially curved surface opposing the press surface with an interval therebetween, and a sheet-shape pressure sensor provided in tight contact with the installation surface and uniaxially curved along the installation surface.

Pressure detection device

In an embodiment, a display device comprises a substrate, display elements, a partition wall, a metal layer, and an inorganic layer. Each of the display elements comprises first and second electrode and an organic layer. The partition wall is between the display elements. The metal layer is along the partition wall. The inorganic layer covers the display elements, the partition wall, and the metal layer. The partition wall includes a first portion, and a second portion which is smaller in width than the first portion. The metal layer covers a first area on a side surface of the second portion. The inorganic layer covers a second area on the side surface. The second area is between the first area and the first portion.

Display device

A display device includes a base, display elements, a partition wall, first to third inorganic layers and a resin layer. The display element includes first and second electrodes and a light-emitting layer between the electrodes. The partition wall is located between adjacent pair of the display elements. The first inorganic layer covers the display elements and the partition wall. The second inorganic layer covers the first inorganic layer. The resin layer covers the second inorganic layer. The third inorganic layer covers the resin layer.

Display device including partition wall

In a display device including a flexible display panel, the risk of disconnection of a wiring due to bending is reduced. A display panel includes a display function layer including display elements and a wiring on one major surface of a base material having flexibility. The display panel includes, on the one major surface of the base material, an organic-film-covered wiring area where the surface of the wiring is covered with an organic planarization film that is an organic insulating film in direct contact with the wiring. The display panel includes, in the plane thereof, a display area where the display elements are arranged and a component mounting area that is a peripheral area located outside the display area. As the organic-film-covered wiring area, a curved area is provided in the peripheral area.

Flexible panel

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a first bottom electrode, a second bottom electrode, a second insulating layer including a first opening portion overlapping the first bottom electrode and a second opening portion overlapping the second bottom electrode, a first organic layer disposed in the first opening portion, a second organic layer disposed in the second opening portion, a first top electrode covering the first organic layer, a second top electrode covering the second organic layer, and a sealing film covering each of the first top electrode and the second top electrode. A slit which penetrates the sealing film is formed between the first top electrode and the second top electrode.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a lower electrode arranged on a first insulating layer, a second insulating layer arranged on the first insulating layer, having an opening overlapping the lower electrode, and being in a lattice form, a feed line arranged on the second insulating layer, having a first line portion, a second line portion, and a third line portion being continuous with the first and second line portions and having a different width from the first and second line portions, an organic layer arranged in the opening and covering the lower electrode, and an upper electrode being in contact with the first, second and third line portions, and covering the organic layer.

A display device includes a flexible substrate including a first region including a display region, a second region including a curved region, and a third region including a terminal region; an electro-optical element located in the display region; and a resin layer continuously extending from the first region to the third region.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes an insulating substrate, a first insulating layer disposed on the insulating substrate, a lower electrode disposed on the first insulating layer, a second insulating layer disposed on the first insulating layer and including an opening overlapping the lower electrode, an organic layer including a light-emitting layer, disposed in the opening and covering the lower electrode, an upper electrode comprising a first end surface, which is an inclined surface, directly above the second insulating layer and stacked on the organic layer and an optical adjustment layer including a second end surface on an inner side with respect to the first end surface and in contact with the upper electrode.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a lower electrode, a second insulating layer including an opening overlapping the lower electrode, an organic layer including a light-emitting layer and a functional layer, disposed in the opening and covering the lower electrode and an upper electrode covering the organic layer. The functional layer includes a first region located between the lower electrode and the light-emitting layer and a second region including an end surface located directly above the second insulating layer. A dopant concentration of a guest material in the second region is lower than the dopant concentration of the guest material in the first region.

Display device and method for manufacturing display device

A display device includes a display panel including a display region, a terminal region provided with a terminal, and a bending region located between the display region and the terminal region and capable of bending, the terminal region being located on a rear surface side opposite to a display surface side with respect to the display region based on the bending region bent and a protective coating provided on the display surface side of the bending region. When a direction in which the display region, the bending region, and the terminal region are arranged is defined as a first direction and a direction crossing the first direction is defined as a second direction, the bending region includes a bank portion located in the second direction with respect to the protective coating, projecting to the display surface side, and extending in the first direction.

Display device and method of manufacturing display device

A display includes a plurality of first wirings which are provided on a first layer and each of which is arranged parallel to a first direction in a first area, and which are arranged on a second layer in a second area; a second wiring which is provided in the first layer in the first area and which is provided on a layer in the second area; and a third wiring which is provided on the first layer and arranged between the first wirings in the first area and which is arranged to intersect with first wirings in the second area. The first wirings is arranged to be inclined to the same side in the first direction in the second area. The second wiring is arranged to intersect with a portion of the plurality of first wirings in a plan view, in the second area.

A display device according to an embodiment includes a bendable housing, a flexible display module, a flexible external frame, and an internal frame. The display module includes a first surface facing the housing, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a side surface connecting the first and second surfaces. The external frame has a base end portion connected to the housing and an edge portion integrally formed with the base end portion and facing the second surface, and covers the display module. The internal frame is arranged between the base end portion and the side surface, and has a Young's modulus larger than that of the external frame.
