A controller is applied to a vehicle including an engine () and a motor generator (and) as power sources of the vehicle and a battery () that transfers power with the motor generator. The controller charges the battery with a regeneration power that is a power regenerated by the motor generator when the vehicle is decelerated. The controller includes a SOC prediction unit (and) to predict a SOC indicating a remaining capacity of the battery in a scheduled travel route of the vehicle, based on a predicted result of a road grade and a vehicle speed in the scheduled travel route, a discharge control unit (andto) to execute a discharge increasing control to previously increase a discharge quantity of the battery to prevent the battery from becoming in a saturation state based on a predicted SOC that is the SOC predicted by the SOC prediction unit, when the discharge control unit determines that the battery becomes in the saturation state where the battery cannot be charged with the regeneration power based on the predicted SOC, a determination unit (andto) to determine whether a behavior of the predicted SOC shifts from a behavior of an actual SOC or determine whether a SOC shift factor occurs, after a start of the discharge increasing control, where the SOC shift factor is a vehicle control or an environment change that predicts the behavior of the predicted SOC shifts from the behavior of the actual SOC, and a correction unit (toandto) to correct the discharge increasing control by executing a prediction of the SOC in the scheduled travel route again, when the determination unit determines that the behavior of the predicted SOC shifts from the behavior of the actual SOC or determines that the SOC shift factor occurs.

Controller for vehicle

In an information transfer device () installed in a vehicle (), the vehicle carrying the information transfer device () is referred to as a subject vehicle, and an information acquisition unit () acquires through communications with another vehicle (a) information indicating whether the other vehicle is being automatically driven, (b) information indicating functions of the other vehicle related to automatic driving, and (c) information indicating a schedule of the other vehicle related to automatic driving. An information processing unit () provides the information acquired by the information acquisition unit to the driver of the subject vehicle () or outputs the same to a driving control device () of the subject vehicle ().

Information transfer device, electronic control device, information transmission device, and electronic control system

An evacuation driving assistance apparatus capable of evacuation driving toward an appropriate evacuation location is provided. In the evacuation driving assistance apparatus, a driver determination unit determines whether or not a driver of an own vehicle is in a normal-driving enabled state. If it is determined by the driver determination unit that the driver of the own vehicle is in a normal-driving disabled state, a notification unit provides a notification of location information of the own vehicle to a center. The center is capable of determining an evacuation location based on the location information of the own vehicle, and transmitting the evacuation location. A reception unit receives the evacuation location transmitted by the center. An evacuation driving execution unit executes evacuation driving toward the evacuation location received by the reception unit.

Evacuation driving assistance system

A controller includes a SOC prediction unit to predict a SOC, based on a predicted result of a road grade and a vehicle speed in a scheduled travel route, and a discharge control unit to execute a discharge increasing control to previously increase a discharge quantity of the battery to prevent the battery from becoming in a saturation state based on a predicted SOC, when the battery becomes in the saturation state. The discharge control unit includes a first mode to execute an assist discharge increasing control in an assist travel, and a second mode to execute an EV discharge increasing control by decreasing the vehicle speed and by increasing an opportunity of an EV travel, as the discharge increasing control. When the EV discharge increasing control can be executed, the EV discharge increasing control is executed with priority relative to the assist discharge increasing control.

A vehicle control device that includes a search unit that searches, based on geographic information to be supplied from a navigation device, for a deceleration start position before a downhill that is suited to regeneration by a motor; and a charge level control unit that performs, when a vehicle reaches the deceleration start position, deceleration control for reducing a charge level of a battery by reducing a vehicle speed. When the charge level control unit performs the deceleration control, the vehicle speed is reduced by reducing a driving force of the vehicle to a level at which only motor output is used as the driving force.

Vehicle control device

A vehicle control device includes an engine, and a motor that is driven by power to be supplied from a battery, the vehicle control device controlling a vehicle that uses at least one of engine output and motor output as a driving force. The vehicle control device includes a regeneration control and a downhill-acceleration control unit. The regeneration control unit causes the motor to perform regeneration on a downhill. The downhill-acceleration control unit performs downhill acceleration control for causing, in a specific zone on the downhill, the vehicle to travel at increased speed without allowing the vehicle to use the engine output as drive output, and without causing the motor to perform the regeneration.

A travel control apparatus is provided with: a speed controller that controls speed of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine; and a determination part that determines an emission deterioration state of the internal combustion engine. The speed controller is configured to execute burn-and-coast control that repeatedly executes burn control in which the vehicle is accelerated by driving force of the internal combustion engine, and coasting control in which the vehicle is driven by inertia, by stopping the generation of the driving force or rotation of the internal combustion engine. The speed controller is configured to execute emission suppression control that suppresses emissions by adjusting the burn-and-coast control when the emission deterioration state of the internal combustion engine is determined by the determination part.

Travel control apparatus

A projection is provided in a flange of a resin spool, and a concave portion is provided in a yoke in a position facing the projection. The movement of the spool in the radial direction of the spool is restricted by inserting the projection into the concave portion. Because the inner circumferential surface of the concave portion and the outer circumferential surface of the projection are brought into contact, the movement of the spool in the axial direction of the spool is inhibited by frictional resistance at the points of contact.

Electromagnetic valve

A hydraulic pressure controller is provided which includes a hydraulic unit for controlling hydraulic pressure and an electronic control unit. The hydraulic unit includes a block in which are mounted electric actuators. The electronic control unit controls the electric actuators by applying electric signals thereto to control hydraulic pressure produced in the hydraulic unit to external elements in a controlled manner, thereby controlling the behavior of the vehicle. The electronic control unit includes a housing in which are mounted a circuit board and other electronic and electric parts, and a fitting portion provided on the housing so as to face one side of the block. At least one end portion of the block is received in the fitting portion and is engaged by a seal. The controller further includes a fastener for joining the block to the fitting portion.

Hydraulic pressure controller

A brake device comprises a brake cylinder, a reservoir, a pump, a master cylinder, and a pulsation-reduction device. The reservoir serves to accumulate a working liquid discharged from the brake cylinder. The pump serves to pump the working liquid accumulated within the reservoir. The master cylinder serves to receive the working liquid discharged from the pump. The pulsation-reduction device comprises a valve device disposed in a communication channel connecting the downstream side of the pump and the master cylinder. The valve device comprises a spool disposed within the communication channel. The spool is movable along the communication channel in response to differences in pressure between the pump side of the communication channel and the master cylinder side of the communication channel. The movement of the spool operates to open and close at least a part of the communication channel.

Brake devices

A device used for controlling brake fluid pressure includes a plunger pump, for pressurizing brake fluid, and a drive motor for driving the plunger pump. The plunger pump and the output shaft of the drive motor are coupled together so as to transmit power through a cam mechanism arranged in a motor cam chamber. The motor cam chamber is provided with a communication passageway to allow brake fluid seepage to flow from the motor cam chamber to an interior chamber such as a solenoid chamber and/or one or more spring-enclosing chambers. The motor cam chamber is sealed from the exterior and brake fluid seeping into the motor cam chamber is contained within the interior of the device used for controlling brake fluid pressure.

Devices for controlling brake fluid pressure

A brake device has at least one wheel cylinder operable by the pressure of a working liquid. A reservoir stores the working liquid discharged from the at least one wheel cylinder during the operation of an anti-lock braking function. A pump serves to transfer the working liquid from the reservoir. An outlet valve is disposed on the discharge side of the pump. A master cylinder receives the working liquid delivered from the pump via the outlet valve. A pulsation reducing device is disposed on a downstream side of the outlet valve between the pump and the master cylinder. The pulsation reducing device controls the operation speed of the outlet valve in order to reduce possible pulsations produced in the working liquid discharged from the pump.

A leaf spring for urging a spool toward a flange part of a yoke is provided between a guide fixed to a housing and the spool. Owing to the urging force of the leaf spring, the spool is pressed against the flange part of the yoke, and the yoke can be pressed against the cover through the spool. Thus it is possible to prevent the spool and the yoke from loosening. Further because the leaf spring is provided for each magnet valve, the leaf spring can be commonly used for respective modes of a fluid control apparatus and thus the cost can be reduced.
