A lancing device (A) includes a lancing adjustment mechanism for adjusting the lancing depth of a lancet (L) into a target portion () by operating an operation member (). The lancing adjustment mechanism is designed to provide a nonlinear relationship between the lancing depth of the lancet (L) into the target portion () and the operation amount of the operation member (). With this arrangement, it is possible to suitably adjust bleeding at the lanced portion, thereby improving the operationality of the lancing device (A).

Adjustable lancing device

The present invention provides a lancet (X) which includes a case () including an internal space (), and a lancing unit () which includes a lancing needle () and which is movable within the internal space () in an advancing direction from a wait position to an advanced position. The case () includes a main body () accommodating the lancing unit (), and a cap () which is molded integral with the main body () and detachable from the main body (). The lancing unit () includes a cover portion () for covering a portion of the lancing needle () on the advancing side, for example. The cover portion () is detachable together with the cap () by exerting a rotational force for rotating the cap () and a pulling force for causing relative movement of the cap () in the advancing direction for exposing a front end of the lancing needle ().

Lancet and lancing apparatus

The present invention provides a sample measuring device capable of allowing not only one but more than one kind of samples to react with a reagent, and enhancing a reliability in photometric analysis accuracy by reliably mixing and agitating the sample and the reagent prior to the photometric analysis. The device includes a reagent melting/mixing means, a sample supply chamber positioned on the upstream side of, and communicating with, the reagent melting/mixing means when the sample is allowed to flow into the reagent melting/mixing means, and at least one measuring chamber positioned on the downstream side of, and communicating with, the reagent melting/mixing means, wherein the sample supply chamber, the reagent melting/mixing means, and the measuring chamber are arranged sequentially from the upstream to the downstream directions of the flow passage, with the sample supply chamber positioned on the upstream side with respect to the sample flow by a sample moving means. When a centrifugal machine is used as a reagent moving means and the sample measuring device is installed and used with its imaginary axis kept along the radial direction of a rotor of the centrifugal machine, the sample supply chamber can be provided to be positioned on the radially inner side of the rotor in the centrifugal machine.

Sample measuring device

A measuring device need not previously measure the solution. The device is useful as an analytical device for rapid and easy analysis, and can be produced in a less number of steps because the reagent can be fixed by merely applying it onto a predetermined position.

Test device for analysis of a liquid sample

The present invention relates to a lancing apparatus (A) comprising an apparatus body () including a housing () and a movable member for advancing a needle (), the movable member being arranged movably in the housing (), and a plurality of front end covers () each for coming into contact with a portion to be lanced in lancing. Preferably, the plurality of front end covers () have different structures adapted for lancing different portions and are removably attachable to a same portion of the apparatus body () individually. A suitable cover (or) for the portion to be lanced is selectable from the front end covers (), and the selected front end cover (or) is attached to the apparatus body () in use.

Lancing apparatus

A suction generating device for a sample analysis device is provided. The device comprises four parts, namely, a cover plate, a middle plate, a bottom plateand an operation plate. A first depressed cylindrical concave portion is formed in the upper surface of the base member, and a groove is formed in communication with the first depressed cylindrical concave portion, the groove extending to the end of the protrusion portion,, and a second depressed cylindrical concave portion which is smaller than the first depressed cylindrical concave portion is formed in a certain position in the groove, the end of the groove opening to the outside at the end of the protrusion portion,. Then, the transparent covering is placed over the upper surface of the base member and then integrated together. As a result, the first depressed cylindrical concave portion, the groove, the second depressed cylindrical concave portion, and the opening at the end of the groove are formed into a suction pressure generating chamber, a drawing channel, an analytical section, and an opening for drawing a sample, respectively.
