A brewing device for a machine for preparing beverages like coffee or tea has a brewing chamber with a longitudinal axis, a frame having two walls arranged on opposite sides of the brewing chamber, and a fastening device. The fastening device is configured to releasably couple the brewing device to a support body in the beverage preparation machine and includes a lever release device hinged to the frame to rotate about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis between a normal coupling position, in which the lever release device stably holds the brewing device on the support body, and a release position, in which the lever release device allows the brewing device to be released from, or mounted on, the support body.

A brewing device for a machine for preparing beverages, in particular coffee or tea, in which the brewing device comprising a brewing chamber having a longitudinal axis, a frame having two walls arranged on opposite sides of the brewing chamber, and a fastening device. The present disclosure is for an electronic control system for a brewing device for a machine for preparing beverages, in particular coffee or tea. The brewing device comprises a brewing chamber having an opening through which a material to be brewed may be loaded and discharged; a closing body movable away from and towards a sealed closing position of the opening angularly spaced apart from the closing position, through an intermediate ejection position, in which the closing body is raised with respect to the closing position along the longitudinal axis of the brewing chamber; a piston slidably mounted in the brewing chamber in a position axially opposite the closing body; a first electric actuating device for the movement of the closing body; and a second electric actuating device for the movement of the piston. The electronic control system is configured to be arrangeable in the brewing device and comprises a sensory system configured to output electrical signals to allow the reaching, by the closing body, of the opening, closing and ejection positions to be sensed, and the axial position of the piston in the brewing chamber to be determined, and an on-board electronic control unit configured to be connectable to the sensory system to receive electrical signals therefrom, to the first and second electric actuating device to supply electrical control signals thereto, and to an electronic control unit of the beverage preparation machine external to the brewing device to receive therefrom commands relating to the operation of the brewing device. The on-board electronic control unit is further configured to execute commands received from the external control unit to responsively output, also based on the electrical signals received from the sensory system, electrical control signals for the electric actuating devices.

A collection container to collect exhausted powder material discharged by a brewing device in a beverage preparation machine. Automatic beverage vending machine that has a milk supply circuit includes a cold milk tank, a variable speed milk pump, a steam generator, a milk heater, and an electronic milk control unit. The electronic milk control unit is electrically connected to the milk pump and to an air solenoid valve. The electronic milk control unit is configured to cause the milk supply circuit to deliver smooth or frothed, hot or cold milk. The electronic milk control unit is also configured to determine milk-related quantities including the type of cold milk contained in the cold milk tank, the temperature of the cold milk contained in the cold milk tank, the amount of foam to dispense, and the type of milk to dispense, and to control operation of the milk pump and of the air solenoid valve based on the determined milk-related quantities.

Stator designs have wide-mouth slots between adjacent poles. Wire coils with high slot fill conductivity are formed around the poles. In some designs, the wire coils are wave wound around the poles. Thick bar conductors can be used for making the wire coils. The wire coils may be inserted using nozzle dispensers or transferred from a pre-form mandrel. In other designs, the wire coils are pre-formed on transferable pockets that are then mounted on the poles. Optional pole extensions or shoes can be attached to the stator poles after the wire coils are formed around the poles.

The present invention concerns improved methods and apparatus for forming undulated wire coils that are placed into the cores of dynamo electric machine components. In particular, the invention concerns improved methods and apparatus for controlling the direction of deposit (along the axis about which the coil is wound) for the turns of a wire coil and for positioning the leads of the coil. This is accomplished by forming a series of wire coils using a programmable apparatus that controls a sequence of directions (along the coil axis) in which the wire turns are deposited, as well as positions of the final leads. The same methods and apparatus may also be used to form continuously wound wire portions.
