Fuel injector provided with a piezoelectric actuator, a valve activated by the piezoelectric actuator and regulating a fuel supply that flows in a working direction, and a mechanical transmission placed between the piezoelectric actuator and the valve; an expansion of the piezoelectric actuator displaces the valve in the working direction from a closed position to an open position in an opposite direction to that of the fuel outlet.

Valve body for a fuel injector; the valve body is provided with a cylindrical tubular container which has a central cylindrical cavity, a valve seat which is disposed at a lower end of the tubular container, a pin which can engage the valve seat and is accommodated in a sliding manner inside the tubular container, a lower guide for the pin, which guide is accommodated in the valve seat, and an upper guide for the pin which is contained in a support element, which is disposed at an upper end of the tubular container and defines a pair of supply apertures which open into the cavity for supply of fuel to the cavity itself.

A fuel injector having a piezoelectric actuator, which activates a shutter to move the shutter in a work direction between a closed position and an open position; the piezoelectric actuator is housed inside a casing having an inner chamber insulated from the fuel, and an outer surface wet by the fuel.

A fuel injector comprising a main tubular body provided with at least one through duct that terminates in a spray nozzle adapted to atomise the fuel contained in the through duct, a shutter member moving axially in this through duct from and to a closed position in which the shutter member is disposed in abutment on the spray nozzle closing it off in such a way as to prevent any discharge of fuel, and lastly a hydraulic damper adapted to brake the shutter member during its return to the above-mentioned closed position.

Fuel injector, comprising a main tubular body, provided with at least one through pipe which ends in a spray nozzle which can spray the fuel present inside the through pipe, and a shutter unit, which is mobile axially inside the through pipe, from and towards a position of closure, in which the shutter unit itself abuts a sealing surface provided on the spray nozzle, and seals it in a fluid-tight manner; the shutter unit being made of a cup-type body, the base of which is defined by a sealing disc made of flexible material, on which there are provided an annular sealing projection and an annular stop projection, which is co-axial relative to the former; the annular stop projection having a height which is lower than the annular sealing projection, such as to abut the sealing surface of the spray nozzle only temporarily, subject to resilient deformation of the sealing disc itself.
