A bowling centre includes at least one bowling lane along which the bowl is rolled and having a rolling surface at one end of which are positioned the pins to be knocked down and at the opposite, longitudinal end of which is located the bowler's bay from where the bowl is thrown, the at least one lane including a side bumper running along each side of the lane and movable between a lowered position which allows the bowl to roll freely off the lane into a gutter which channels the bowl out of the lane, and a raised position for keeping the bowl on the bowling lane; an electronic control system configured to manage the at least one lane to implement a scoring program which calculates the score of the game played on the at least one lane; a lighting system includes a plurality of lighting units mounted on each side bumper, the lighting system being connected to the electronic control system which is configured to individually control each lighting unit in such a way as to light respective zones of each bumper in a differentiated manner.

A modular furniture system capable of being arranged in different configurations in a settee area of a bowling center, for example, is disclosed. The furniture system includes at least one modular furniture element with a fastening mechanism which includes a first assembly and a second assembly. A process and a system for managing a bowling center, which includes one or more bowling lanes along which a bowl is rolled, one or more pin setting up machines at one end of the lane and one or more bowlers' bays at the opposite end of the lane, one or more overhead monitors or videos above the lane, one or more consoles or keyboards located at the one or more lanes, respectively, and allowing a user to enter data, an electronic control system set up to manage the bowling center, and in particular, a score program which calculates the score of the games played at the bowling center and displays the score, in particular at the respective overhead monitor. A visual signal is emitted at the respective lane to indicate that the lane is open and waiting for users.

Process and system for managing a bowling centre

A seating system with an elastically moveable backrest capable of being arranged in different configurations in a settee area of a bowling center is disclosed. The seating system includes a configurable seating arrangement including at least one bench seat configured to accommodate one or more users and a respective number of elastically moveable backrests for each of the one or more users. The configurable seating arrangement further includes a bracket assembly which attaches the respective number of elastically moveable backrests to the at least one bench seat.
