A sheet end position regulating device, which is included in an image forming apparatus, includes a first contact body disposed movable on a sheet loading portion on which a sheet is loaded and configured to contact an end portion of the sheet, a fixing body disposed movable between a fixing position at which a position of the first contact body to the sheet loading portion is fixed and a releasing position at which the position of the first contact body is released, and a second contact body disposed movable between a contact position at which the fixing body contacts a contact target portion to regulate movement of the fixing body form the fixing position to the releasing position and a non-contact position at which the fixing body does not contact the contact target portion.

The present application relates to a needleless syringe for injecting an injection objective substance into an injection target area without using an injection needle. In one aspect, the needleless syringe includes a main syringe body containing the injection objective substance with the use of a sealing member, a pressurizing unit provided in the main syringe body and configured to pressurize the injection objective substance, a flow passage unit defining a flow passage of the pressurized injection objective substance to be discharged to the injection target area and a preparatory filling unit configured to fill the flow passage unit with a part of the injection objective substance by destroying a part of the sealing member before the injection objective substance is pressurized. According to some embodiments, it is possible to mitigate the load exerted on the nozzle during the injection and reduce the noise without deteriorating a syringe user convenience.

Needleless syringe

A syringe includes a holding portion that accommodates an injection objective substance, a driving portion that applies injection energy, and a nozzle portion that includes a passage for injection, with these portions being loaded into a housing independently, whereby a state where the injection objective substance can be injected is established. The syringe includes a regulating means for regulating a loading position of the holding portion and the driving portion within the housing so that a loading state, where the holding portion and the driving portion are always loaded in the same order into the housing, is established for injection of the injection objective substance. Due to this, it is possible to facilitate injection of injection liquid ideal for various purposes and to improve user's convenience.

Syringe

The present invention resides in a needleless syringe for injecting an injection objective substance into an injection target area of a living body without using any injection needle; the needleless syringe comprising a main syringe body; an accommodating unit which accommodates the injection objective substance by the aid of a sealing member in an accommodating chamber provided in the main syringe body; a pressurizing unit which pressurizes the injection objective substance accommodated in the accommodating unit to move or destroy the sealing member thereby so that the injection objective substance is discharged to outside; a flow passage unit which forms a discharge port with respect to the injection target area and which defines a flow passage so that the injection objective substance pressurized by the pressurizing unit is discharged via the discharge port to the injection target area; and a preparatory filling unit which fills the flow passage unit with a part of the injection objective substance accommodated in the accommodating chamber by destroying a part of the sealing member before pressurization is performed by the pressurizing unit. Accordingly, it is possible to mitigate the load exerted on the nozzle during the injection and reduce the noise without deteriorating the convenience of a user of the needleless syringe.

A sheet conveying device, that can be included in an image forming apparatus, includes a first conveying unit to convey a sheet in a first direction, a second conveying unit disposed on a downstream side of the first conveying unit to convey the sheet in a second direction, and a first path formed between the first and second conveying units. At least the second conveying unit has a holding section to hold and convey the sheet. The sheet conveying device further includes a belt conveying unit disposed along an outer side of the first path and includes a belt to convey the sheet toward the holding section. The belt is stretched around a first belt holding and rotating member and a second belt holding and rotating member disposed on an upstream side of the second conveying unit in the second direction.

Sheet conveying device, and image forming apparatus including same

An air bag apparatus includes: a base plate, two gas generators, a cover member covering the two gas generators so as to form a gap, an air bag accommodated in contact with the base plate, a hollow formed in the base plate and provided with a communication hole, the hollow accommodating the two gas generators such that a space is provided between two gas generators and another gap, for communicating with the communication hole, is formed, the air bag accommodated such that a gas inlet thereof enclose the communication hole from the other side of the base plate, the air bag, the base plate and the cover member being integrally fixed, and a sealed gas discharge path formed by the cover member and the base member, and leading from the gas discharge port of the two gas generators to the gas inlet of the air bag.

Air bag apparatus

A sheet conveying device, that can be included in an image forming apparatus, includes a first sheet conveying path, a second sheet conveying path, a third conveying path, and a belt-type sheet conveying unit. The first sheet conveying path has a curved portion, and feeds and conveys a sheet therethrough. The second sheet conveying path has a curved portion and different from the first sheet conveying path, and feeds and conveys the sheet therethrough. The third sheet conveying path is provided from a confluence of the first sheet conveying path and the second sheet conveying path. The belt-type sheet conveying unit is disposed on one side of the third sheet conveying path corresponding to an outer side of the curved portion of the first sheet conveying path and an inner side of the curved portion of the second sheet conveying path.

Sheet conveying device with hold and transfer unit

In a recording sheet feeder, a recording sheet tray moving mechanism moves a recording sheet tray between an upper position, at which an uppermost recording sheet of a plurality of recording sheets loaded on the recording sheet tray contacts a feed roller, and a lower position, at which the uppermost recording sheet separates from the feed roller. A first eccentric cam and a second eccentric cam rotate to press down the recording sheet tray. A driving force switch member drives the recording sheet tray moving mechanism when a driver rotates in a first direction, and rotates a feed roller driving shaft mounted with the feed roller when the driver rotates in a second direction.

Recording sheet feeder and image forming apparatus providing easy maintenance with simple structure

A disclosed sheet conveying apparatus includes a first conveying unit configured to convey a sheet in a first sheet conveying direction; and a second conveying unit arranged on a downstream side of the first conveying unit in the first sheet conveying direction and configured to convey the sheet conveyed by the first conveying unit in a second sheet conveying direction different from the first sheet conveying direction. At least the second conveying unit acts as a holding/conveying unit with a holding section to hold and convey the sheet and includes a moving/guiding unit arranged along an outer side of a sheet conveying path extending between the first conveying unit and the second conveying unit. The moving/guiding unit moves/guides the sheet toward the holding section of the second conveying unit, and is arranged in a discontinuous manner along a sheet width direction orthogonal to the first sheet conveying direction so as to contact at least one part of the sheet in the sheet width direction.
