A tension applying apparatus includes a tension applying member applying a tensile force to a drive cable by being pressed against the drive cable, a biasing member generating a biasing force for pressing the tension applying member against the drive cable, a holding member including a guide portion which restricts a moving direction of the tension applying member and a housing member housing the tension applying member and the holding member. The holding member is configured to change the moving direction of the tension applying member which is guided by the guide portion in a state where the holding member including a rotation shaft is housed within the housing member. The housing member includes a holding structure holding the holding member at a position to which the holding member rotates in a direction where a pressing angle of the tension applying member relative to the drive cable becomes shallow.

Tension applying apparatus, drum apparatus and opening and closing body drive apparatus for vehicle

A front cable and a rear cable are wound about a drum, are made to change direction by being caught onto a front pulley and a rear pulley, respectively, disposed on a center rail, and are respectively connected to a guide roller unit at respective terminals. The closing cable section of the front cable is routed to the outside of the center rail, the corresponding terminal being connected to the guide roller unit farther rearward than a load roller, and the opening cable section of the rear cable is routed to inside the center rail, the corresponding terminal being connected to the guide roller unit.

A door opening-and-closing apparatus for a vehicle includes a rotatably driven drum, a first cable and a second cable, which cables are wound around the drum, a rotating shaft, a first pulley supported by the rotating shaft, a second pulley supported by the rotating shaft, an attachment member supporting the rotating shaft, a rigid protruding portion integral with one of the first and second pulleys, and an annular recessed portion integrally formed in the other one of the first and second pulleys. When the first and second pulleys are correctly assembled on the rotating shaft, a relative rotation between the first and second pulleys is allowed, and when the first and second pulleys are not correctly assembly on the rotating shaft, the predetermined length of the rotating shaft is not sufficient to support both the first and second pulleys.

Door opening-and-closing apparatus for vehicle

An opening movement control device of a sliding door on a vehicle body. The sliding door having an outer panel connected to an inner panel to define a space therebetween, with a window glass slidably supported between the panels. A link mechanism disposed in the space includes a drive link coupled to the glass to cause reciprocal motion thereof. A drive shaft is rotatably supported by a module base, with one end passing through the module base, and another end fixed to the drive link. A cam member is fixed on the one end of the drive shaft, and a cam follower is movably supported by the inner panel and contacting the cam member. A stopper coupled to the cam follower contacts the vehicle body only when the glass moves down to prevent movement of the door when the window glass is down.

Opening movement control device of a sliding door for a vehicle

A door for a motor vehicle includes an outer panel and an inner panel in which window portions are formed at their upper side region and which are connected at their peripheral portions, a space which is formed between the lower side region of the outer panel and the lower side region of the inner panel and in which a window glass for opening and closing the window portions is disposed so as to be able to move up and down, a module mounting opening formed on the lower side region of the inner panel and a module structure constituted by mounting a plural functional components to a module base, wherein the module base is fluid-tightly fixed to the module mounting opening at its peripheral portion and the module structure is mounted on the inner panel.

A vehicular door lock operation system includes a base member fixed on an interior surface of a door outer panel, a handle rotatably supported on the base member and linked to a opening member of a door lock device, a door key cylinder supported by the base member and linked to a locking member of the door lock device, a connecting member which connects the handle and the opening member of the door lock device, and a supporting portion positioned close to the door key cylinder and supporting the connecting member. In such a vehicular door lock operation system, the assembly operation of the door lock device becomes more simplified than in the conventional vehicular door lock operation system.

A vehicle door system includes a door inner panel interconnected to a door outer panel to form an outer space therebetween. The inner panel includes a sealed through-hole interconnecting the outer space with an inner space situated on an opposite (inner) side of the inner panel. A door outside handle is attached to the door outer panel and is operatively connected to the door lock device by a connecting structure which extends through the through-hole. A door assembly for vehicles includes a space defined between a door inner panel and a door trimming, in which a door locking device for holding a vehicle door on a vehicle body is accommodated so as to be secured on the door inner panel. A key cylinder and a connecting rod for a door outside handle are arranged between a door outer panel and the door inner panel, and a locking lever and an opening lever of the door locking device are placed in the space connected to the key cylinder and the connecting rod.

A vehicle door assembly includes a door inner panel having a hinge attachment portion on which is to be mounted a pair of door hinge devices and a lock attachment portion on which is to be mounted a door lock device. A base panel has four arm portions that connect the base panel to the door inner panel. The four arm portions include first and a second arm portions fixed to the hinge attachment portion of the door inner panel, and a third arm portion attached to the lock attachment portion of the door inner panel.
