The present invention aims to provide a basket catheter that easily transmits rotational torque on a proximal side to a basket part and can remove a captured foreign matter. The basket catheter () has a distal side and a proximal side, has an outer tubular member (), an inner tubular member () disposed in a lumen of the outer tubular member () and an expandable basket part () disposed on the distal side of the inner tubular member () and including elastic wires (). The inner tubular member () includes a hollow coil body () formed of a wire wound spirally. In the above basket catheter (), the elastic wires () and the inner tubular member () are preferably connected together through a tubular connector ().
