A plasma activated ophthalmic solution generating device operable to generate a therapeutic ophthalmic solution for curing epidemic keratoconjunctivitis includes a plasma generating electrode operable to generate a plasma activated ophthalmic solution for epidemic keratoconjunctivitis, wherein the plasma generating electrode is arranged surrounding an insert space where a unit dose ophthalmic eyedrop container with a container body, which seals a certain solution in a sterile state, is inserted; a power supply unit; and a high voltage generating unit, which is connected to the power supply unit, operable to be supplied with power source from the power supply unit and to apply high voltage electric current to the plasma generating electrode. This configuration makes it possible to provide a novel and effective therapeutic ophthalmic solution for epidemic keratoconjunctivitis (EKC).

Treatment method and system for epidemic keratoconjunctivitis

Provided is an observation device and a method of observing capable of clearly obtaining information relating to a boundary part where a medium inside an observation object changes. An observation device () is a device for observing an observation object () including a sensitivity factor in which a dipole moment changes by sensing an electromagnetic wave (). An output part () outputs the electromagnetic wave () and the dipole moment of the sensitivity factor included in the observation object () is changed by the electromagnetic wave (). A detector part () detects, of the electromagnetic wave () outputted from the output part (), a signal electromagnetic wave () which comes through the observation object () and a reference electromagnetic wave () which bypasses the observation object (). A control part () analyzes the structure of the observation object () based on the detection results of the detection part (). The electromagnetic wave () is pulse laser light which is intermittently outputted in pulse waveform. The wavelength of the electromagnetic wave () is arranged within the wavelength absorption band of the sensitivity factor.

Observation device and method of observing

An apparatus for clogging blood vessels of an eye fundus includes an illuminating optical system (1) for illuminating an eye fundus of a subject, who has been given an injection of an infrared fluorescent agent, with infrared rays of light and exciting the infrared fluorescent agent so as to generate infrared fluorescence, a photographic optical system (2) for observing and photographing the eye fundus, and a projecting optical system (21) for projecting a laser beam of light having a specific wavelength onto the subject who has been also given an injection of a photosensitive substance which undergoes a photochemical change by the laser beam. In the apparatus, while a region which emits infrared fluorescence is being observed, the laser beam is projected onto the photosensitive substance so as to clog blood vessels of a diseased part in the depth of the eye fundus.

The present invention relates to a fundus camera for photographing vascular condition of the retina in medical examination for checking health, and it comprises a retina illuminating system for projecting infrared illuminating light beam to the retina to be examined, a first barrier filter having a first transmission wavelength range and a second barrier filter having a second transmission wavelength range shifted toward longer wavelength range, said two barrier filters being interchangeable with each other, and a photographing system for angiography of the retina to be examined through either the first or the second barrier filters, whereby a proper fluorescent vascular image is photographed even when fluorescent light wavelength from the retina is changed with the lapse of time.
