Gas canister retaining structure includes: a gas canister cover pivotable between an opened position for attaching/detaching a cassette gas canister to/from the retaining structure and a closed position for accommodating and holding the gas canister in place within the canister cover; a mouthpiece support section provided inside the gas canister cover for supporting a mouthpiece portion of the cassette gas canister with a jet nozzle of the cassette gas canister received in a nozzle receiving port provided in the mouthpiece support section; and a shutter member pivotable between an opened position for opening the nozzle receiving port and a closed position for closing the nozzle receiving port.

Gas canister retaining structure for gas-engine-mounted working machine

A work machine to which a cassette gas cylinder is detachably attached is disclosed. The cassette gas cylinder is accommodated inside a gas cylinder case. The gas cylinder case for accommodating the cassette gas cylinder is detachably attached to the work machine so that the gas cylinder case wherein the cassette gas cylinder is accommodated can be transported together with the cylinder.

Work machine

A work vehicle includes an engine driven by gas fuel sealed inside a cassette gas cylinder. The cassette gas cylinder is installed in a cylinder mount. The cylinder mount comprises a mouthpiece support for supporting a mouthpiece of the cassette gas cylinder, and a shutter member swingable about a support shaft provided to the cylinder mount, for opening and closing an opening of the mouthpiece support from above the mouthpiece support.

Work vehicle

In a gas-engine-mounted working machine, a gas engine is mounted on a machine body and supplied with fuel gas from a cassette gas canister. The cassette gas canister is detachably attached to a gas canister retainer assembly. Handle column extends rearwardly and upwardly from the machine body and having left and right handle posts fixed to the machine body for supporting an operating handle of the machine. The cassette gas canister is mounted, via the gas canister retainer assembly, between the left and right handle posts.

A small-sized tiller includes a stand unit configured to solely support the tiller in a self-standing state. The stand unit has a pole portion removably mountable to a resistance-bar attachment portion of the body frame when a resistance bar has been removed from the resistance-bar attachment portion.

An engine-driven work machine having a target engine speed selection unit and a control unit. The target engine speed selection unit selects and specifies an arbitrary target engine speed from among a plurality of target engine speeds that is set in stepwise fashion. The control unit electrically controls the opening and closing of a throttle valve so that the actual engine speed conforms to the specified target engine speed.

A steering mechanism of a vehicle has a suspension arm, and steering acceleration gear mechanisms for steering left and right front wheels provided to either end of the suspension arm. A portion of the suspension arm protrudes further forwardly of the vehicle than the steering acceleration gear mechanisms, so that the steering acceleration gear mechanisms including knuckle arms are protected from obstructions.

A walk-behind working machine includes a first clutch mechanism for connecting or disconnecting drive between an engine and a working member of the working machine. The first clutch mechanism includes a first clutch lever having a first activating member. A second clutch mechanism is configured to connect or disconnect drive between the engine and traveling members of the working machine. The second clutch mechanism includes a second clutch lever having a second activating member. A throttle regulating mechanism has a pivoting member for engagement with one of the first activating member of the first clutch mechanism and the second activating member of the second clutch mechanism so as to undergo pivotal movement to shift a throttle for the engine from a first opened position in which an idling engine speed is produced to a second opened position in which a working-machine-activating engine speed is produced.

Walk-behind working machine throttle control

A walk-behind electric working machine has a frame, an electric motor mounted on the frame, and a handle support section mounted on the frame, the handle support section having a pair of electrical terminals. A handle post has a first end portion for removable connection to the handle support section, a second end portion, and an electrical terminal disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the first end portion for electrical connection with the electrical terminals of the handle support section when the first end portion of the handle post is connected to the handle support section. A handle is removably mounted on the second end portion of the handle post and has handle portions. Grip members are mounted on the respective handle portions and are configured to be gripped by respective hands of an operator. An operation button controls power to operate the electric motor when the electrical terminal of the handle post is electrically connected to the electrical terminals of the handle support section.

A lawn mower, which is driven by an electric motor or an internal combustion engine, has an operation handle, which is formed by connecting through a grip partrear ends of left and right long handgripsL,R extending rearward from the body of the lawn mower supported by wheelsand. A first operation memberis provided near a central portion of the grip partof the operation handle, and a second operation memberis swingably supported by the operation handle. The second operation memberis arranged on the front side of the grip partso as to freely move to and from the grip part. The lawn mower is driven by sequential operation of the first and second operation members. Thus it is possible to constantly keep the lawn mower stable, enabling easy and quick operation, and improving operability.

Lawn mower handle drive operating mechanism

A walk-behind electric cultivating machine has a body frame, an electric motor mounted on the body frame and having a motor shaft, and batteries mounted on the machine body frame for supplying electric power to the electric motor. Each of the batteries has a longitudinal axis disposed generally perpendicular to a longitudinal centerline of the motor shaft. A cultivating shaft is rotatably mounted to the machine body frame and has cultivating members mounted on the cultivating shaft for rotation therewith. A transmission mechanism is mounted on the body frame and is connected to the motor shaft for transmitting a driving power of the electric motor to the cultivating members via the cultivating shaft.

Walk-behind electric cultivating machine

A tiller includes an engine, a transmission mechanism, and a rotor shaft having tillage tines mounted thereon. The transmission mechanism transmits a motive power of the engine to the rotor shaft to thereby cause the tillage tines to perform a tilling operation. The tiller also includes a tranmission case having the transmission mechanism housed therein, and a fender disposed to cover the tillage tines. The fender is mounted to the tranmission case by bolts. Each bolt has a portion projecting downwardly from the fender. The tiller further includes a guard member extending downwardly from the transmission case to a level lower than the downwardly projecting portion of each bolt. The guard member guards the bolts against a foreign object thrown upwardly by the tillage tines during the tilling operation.

Tiller

A support bracket includes a cylindrical portion sized to have a skid inserted therethrough, and a receiving portion sized to receive a handlebar. The cylindrical portion and the receiving portion are formed by bending a single plate in two. The plate includes a groove portion formed centrally thereof, right and left flat plate portions positioned rightwardly and leftwardly of said groove portion, right and left curved portions protruding outwardly from the right and left flat plate portions, respectively, and right and left connection portions protruding outwardly from the right and left curved portions, respectively. The right and left flat plate portions include right and left projecting portions, respectively. The right and left flat plate portions are reinforced by the right and left projecting portions. When the plate is bent in two, the flat plate portions are joined together to form the groove portion into the cylindrical portion. At the same time, the curved portions are opposed to each other to provide the receiving portions. Further, the connection portions are opposed to each other in such a manner as to be connected to a casing of a tiller.

Support bracket for use with tiller

A tiller has rotational blades for tilling the ground. A power source generates a rotational driving force for rotating the rotational blades and for advancing the tiller unidirectionally while tilling the ground. A power transmission mechanism transmits the rotational driving force of the power source to the rotational blades. A handle for guiding the tiller is pivotally connected to a rear portion of the power source or to a rear portion of the power transmission mechanism so that shock energy generated during tilling of the ground and transmitted to the power source or the power transmission mechanism is absorbed by pivotal movement of the power source or the power transmission mechanism relative to the handle about a pivot point spaced rearwardly from a center of gravity of the tiller and disposed approximately at the same height as the center of gravity of the tiller from a surface of the ground.
