A control device for a vehicle capable of switching between an automated driving mode in which driving force of a vehicle having a transmission is automatically controlled and a manual driving mode in which the driving force of the vehicle is controlled on the basis of a driver's operation on the vehicle includes: an operation element to which the driver's operation is input; and a travel control unit that outputs a command value for selecting a gear range of the transmission. The travel control unit selects which of ordinary gear change control and gear change restricting control is to be performed on the basis of an operation performed on the operation element when there is an automated driving release request in which the automated driving mode is released and the automated driving mode is switched to the manual driving mode during traveling of the vehicle in the automated driving mode.

An autonomous parking apparatus incorporated into a vehicle including an internal combustion engine, a torque converter, a transmission, a detector detecting a creep torque acting on an axle, and a microprocessor. The microprocessor is configured to perform instructing a self-parking of the vehicle, determining whether it is necessary to perform a creep torque reduction control based on a creep torque detected when the self-parking is instructed, and controlling the transmission in accordance with a determination result in the determining. When it is determined that it is necessary to perform the creep torque reduction control, the microprocessor is configured to control the transmission so as to increase engaging force of engagement elements of the transmission or change speed stage of the transmission to high speed side than when it is determined that it is unnecessary to perform the creep torque reduction control.

A weight ratio of each driving wheel of the vehicle at the time of automatic driving is calculated, a front and rear distribution ratio of a driving force of the vehicle is calculated from the weight ratio, a rear wheel plan driving force is calculated from the front and rear distribution ratio and an action plan required driving force, and a temperature of a rear wheel motor is estimated. Then, when the estimated attainment temperature of the rear wheel motor is higher than the upper limit value of the temperature, the front and rear distribution ratio is changed within a range in which excessive slip does not occur at the front wheels, the rear wheel plan driving force is recalculated, and the automatic driving of the vehicle is implemented taking the rear wheel plan driving force as a target driving force.

A vehicle control apparatus configured to control a vehicle capable of switching between a manual drive mode for driving manually and a self-drive mode for driving autonomously. The vehicle control apparatus includes an electric control unit having a microprocessor and a memory. The microprocessor is configured to perform detecting a failure of the vehicle while traveling in the manual drive mode, and switching a drive mode from the manual drive mode to the self-drive mode when the failure is detected.

A control apparatus includes a switching control unit that switches a traveling mode of a vehicle from an automated driving mode to a manual driving mode if an automated drive canceling request to cancel the automated driving mode to switch to the manual driving mode is submitted while the vehicle is traveling in the automated driving mode. The switching control unit performs transmission gear setting control in which a transmission gear of an automatic transmission is set to a highest transmission gear among transmission gears within a range of a predetermined allowable driving force in the switching from the automated driving mode to the manual driving mode.

At pre-shift of a shift control, a line pressure control section determines a pressure raising amount &#x394;PL of a line pressure PL on the basis of a pressure raising amount map stored in a memory, and controls a line pressure controlling linear solenoid valve so that the line pressure PL regulated by a regulator valve is raised by this pressure raising amount &#x394;PL. For example, a control hydraulic pressure corresponding to the pressure raising amount &#x394;PL is applied to the regulator valve from the line pressure controlling linear solenoid valve. Thus, hydraulic oil supplied from an oil pump is mostly discharged from an output port for the line pressure PL. Therefore, although there is a possibility that the line pressure PL regulated within a line pressure circuit somewhat varies when stroke of a hydraulic piston starts, a decrease of the line pressure PL is suppressed sufficiently compared with the case where the line pressure PL is not raised as a conventional manner.
