A fluid machinery such as helical compressor includes a sliding mechanism comprising one side member composed, in combination, of a metallic base member having a sliding surface and a lubrication film formed on the sliding surface in a close contact thereto, and a counterpart side member containing fluorocarbon resin in an amount of at least 50 wt. %. The lubrication film includes a solid lubricant having a self-lubrication property and a binder of resin material.

Helical blade fluid compressor having an aluminum alloy rotating member

A fluid machinery is disclosed which is able to assure a large compression volume without an increase in size and achieve high compressibility by suppressing leakage from sealing, thereby improving the reliability. In the fluid machinery, a second spiral 13 having a spiral inner engaging surface 17 formed to have a stepped shape in section is engaged with a first spiral 15 having an outer engaging surface 21 with a stepped sectional shape which rises upwardly from an outer peripheral side to a central side in a spiral manner, so that sealed spaces 25 are formed to cause reduction in volume of sealed spaces in both radial and height directions from a peripheral side to a central side. A closed spaces 35 having an inclination surface 19 is formed between a stepped surface of the outer engaging surface 21 of the first spiral 15 and a stepped surface of the inner engaging surface 17 of the second spiral 13. A spiral member 37 having a slant surface 39 which engages always with the inclination surfaces 19 is provided in the sealed spaces 35 so as to seal the lower pressure sealed spaces 25 and the higher pressure sealed spaces 25.

Fluid machinery having a sealing member between stepped spirals

A fluid machine has-two working mechanisms. Each of the working mechanisms has a fixed spiral, a movable spiral, and a working chamber. The fixed spiral has an inner contact face that spirals from the periphery toward the center of the fixed spiral and has a stepped shape in section. The movable spiral has an outer contact face that spirals upwardly from the periphery toward the center of the movable spiral and has a stepped shape in section. The movable spiral orbits inside the fixed spiral when an eccentric shaft rotates. The working chamber is defined between the inner and outer contact faces. The height and width of the working chamber become smaller as the working chamber shifts from the periphery toward the center of the working mechanism according to the oscillation of the movable spiral.

Fluid machine having two spiral working mechanisms with a stepped shape

A fluid machine for transferring working fluid has fixed and rotating spiral members. The fixed spiral member has a stepped internal engagement surface that spirally rises upwardly and inwardly toward its center. The rotating spiral member revolves relative to the fixed spiral member and also has a stepped outer engagement surface that spirally rises upwardly inwardly toward its center. The stepped internal engagement surface of the fixed spiral member engages the stepped outer engagement surface of the rotating spiral member, which together form a compression mechanism. A working space is formed between the engagement surfaces of the spiral members. The capacity of the working space gradually decreases toward the center from the largest to the smallest circumference. A seal member is positioned between the stepped surfaces of the spiral members to seal the working space.

Fluid compressing device having coaxial spiral members

A fluid compressor includes a piston which has a vertical longitudinal axis. A plurality of working chambers are provided between a cylinder and the piston, and are constituted by upper working chambers and lower working chambers which separated from each other by a center portion of the piston. Fluid is sucked in the lowermost one of the upper working chambers and the uppermost one of the lower working chambers, respectively, and is compressed while being conveyed. The diameter .phi. D3 of a lower shaft portion of the piston and the diameter .phi. D4 of an upper shaft portion of the piston have a relationship .phi. D3 &lt;.phi. D4 in order to apply an upward thrust force to the piston.

Fluid compressor with vertical longitudinal axis

A fluid compressor has a piston, the axis of which is vertical. The dimensions of the parts of the compressor are determined such that an upward thrust force acting on the piston is substantially equal to or slightly greater than the total weight of rotational parts including the piston and a cylinder. Specifically, a groove formed in the piston has a pitch decreasing gradually from a lower part to an upper part of the piston, and a diameter (.PHI.D1) of a lower shaft portion of the piston, a diameter (.PHI.D2) of a upper shaft portion of the piston, and an inside diameter (.PHI.Dc) of the cylinder have a relationship, (D1.sup.2 +D2.sup.2)&gt;Dc.sup.2.

A fluid compressor having a cylinder, columnar rotating body, first and second spiral grooves, first and second recessed grooves, first and second spiral blades slidable in a radial direction of the columnar rotating body and fitted in the first and second spiral grooves. A drive means is provided for causing a rotational movement of the cylinder and the columnar rotating body synchronously with each other. Stoppers extend from the cylinder into first and second recessed grooves whose wall portions are located adjacent to a respective first turn of the second and first spiral grooves and advanced by 180.degree. from a respective second and first spiral grooves. The first and second stoppers engage respective end portions of the spiral blades during the rotational movements of the cylinder and the columnar rotating body. With this arrangement of the wall portions of the first and second recessed grooves, interference between adjacent first and second grooves is prevented and refrigerating gas compressed in an operating chamber does not leak or return to a first suction port provided in a central portion of the columnar rotating body.

Twin helical blade fluid compressor

A fluid compressor comprises a rotary member, a cylinder, and a closed casing for receiving the rotary member and cylinder. The rotary member and cylinder are relatively turned so that a fluid is drawn into work chambers through a suction port, successively compressed and conveyed toward a discharge port through the work chambers, and discharged outside. The fluid compressor is provided with a control valve means. When pressure in the work chambers exceeds a predetermined value during the compressing process, the control valve releases the pressure through a discharge or suction end of the cylinder, or to the inside of the casing.

A fluid compressor comprises a cylinder and a columnar rotating body synchronously rotated by a drive means, The rotational movement of the cylinder and the columnar rotating body is supported by a pair of roller bearing assemblies. A clearance is provided between the roller bearing assemblies and bearing members to allow fluid from the compression chambers to pass into an interior of the casing of the compressor. With the arrangement of roller bearing assemblies at the ends of cylinder and columnar rotational body combinations, a large diameter of the cylinder is possible and thus high compression efficiency of the fluid compressor is achieved.

A fluid compressor comprises a cylinder, a cylindrical piston eccentrically disposed inside the cylinder so that the periphery of the piston is partly in contact with the inner face of the cylinder, the piston being movable relative to the cylinder, a spiral groove formed around the piston at pitches that gradually reduce from a suction side toward a discharge side, and a spiral blade fitted in the groove so that the blade is outwardly and inwardly movable in the groove, the blade defining a plurality of work chambers between the inner face of the cylinder and the periphery of the piston. The outer diameter of at least part of the blade is larger than the inner diameter of the cylinder.

A fluid compressor comprises a hollow cylinder closed at the axially opposite ends, a cylindrical turning body disposed within the cylinder and provided with a helical groove formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder, the axis of the turning body being eccentrically displaced from the axis of the cylinder by a given distance, and a blade held and vertically movable in the groove in the direction of the depth of the groove as a compressing element, the compressor drawing operating fluid into the cylinder through a suction port disposed at an end of the cylinder, transferring the drawn-in fluid toward a discharge port disposed at the other end of the cylinder and eventually discharging the fluid through the discharge port by the rotary movement of the turning body as the object of compression, wherein, when the given formula is expressed in terms of the circumferential coordinate and the axial coordinate of the turning body, the values obtained as a result of 'differentiation of second order' of the axial coordinate by the peripheral coordinate of the given formula show an approximately continuous distribution.

A fluid compressor including a sealed case having an oil bank in which oil is held, a cylinder arranged in the sealed case, a rotation body eccentrically arranged in the cylinder, a main shaft and a sub-shaft formed at each of axial end portions of the rotation body, a spiral groove formed on a periphery thereof such that a pitch of the spiral groove gradually decreases from the sub-shaft side to the main shaft side, a spiral blade engaged with the groove such as to be able to project therefrom or retreat therein, a main bearing and a sub-bearing for eccentrically supporting the cylinder and the rotation body, and a suction hole provided in the rotation body for allowing an operation fluid having a low pressure before compression to flow from the main shaft side to the sub-shaft side so as to introduce the fluid into an inner space of the cylinder, the cylinder and the rotation body rotated relatively with each other so as to transport the operation fluid from the sub-shaft side to the main shaft side for compression.

Disclosed is a fluid compressor which comprises a closed case having an inlet for a fluid at one end thereof and an outlet for a fluid at the other, a cylinder fixed in the case, and a rotary member which orbits in and relatively to the cylinder, wherein the rotary member has a compression unit for compressing a fluid supplied into the closed case from the inlet thereof on the orbit movement of the rotary member, then discharging it outside from the outlet of the closed case.

Fluid compressor with spiral blade

A gas compressor comprises a fixed scroll member and a movable scroll member. A plurality of crescent working chambers are defined between the scroll members so that the volume of the working chambers varies when the scroll members are relatively moved. The compressor has a container which seals a power source and the scroll members and forms inner spaces therebetween. An intake port for drawing a gas from the exterior of the container into the working chambers is formed in the outer peripheral region of the fixed scroll member, and an axial port is formed in the inner region of the fixed scroll member so that the working chambers communicates therewith.
