A control device is provided with a flow rate derivation part for deriving a pressure-holding-valve flow rate on the basis of a pressure command value and a previous pressure command value; a differential pressure derivation part for deriving a differential-pressure-valve differential pressure value so that the differential-pressure-valve differential pressure value increases with an increase in the difference obtained by subtracting the pressure-holding-valve flow rate from a pump-discharge flow rate; and a pressure-holding-valve processing part for performing an aperture derivation process to derive a command aperture so that the command aperture decreases with an increase in the difference obtained by subtracting the pressure command value from the sum of an pressure value and the differential-pressure-valve differential pressure value, and driving a holding pressure valve at the command aperture.

Brake control apparatus

A control apparatus for a vehicle includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry calculates a target torque such that the greater the amount of brake operation is, the smaller the target torque becomes. The processing circuitry controls the drive motor such that the creep torque is smaller when brake operation is being performed by the driver than when the brake operation is not being performed by the driver. The control circuitry controls the brake device such that, when the brake operation is being performed by the driver, the brake torque approaches a target brake torque. The processing circuitry sets a decrease gradient of the creep torque to be smaller than a decrease gradient of the target torque when the brake operation amount is increased under a condition in which the creep torque is being output by the drive motor.

A vehicle brake system is provided with a hydraulic brake device, a regenerative brake device incorporating a generator motor, and a brake control device. Taking a stroke within a period from when an operation of a brake operating member is started to when a predetermined stroke operation is performed as an ineffective stroke in which the master cylinder pressure is not generated, a control means controls an amount of differential pressure formed by a differential control valve such that a hydraulic braking force that corresponds to a stroke of the brake operating member is generated during the ineffective stroke, and even after the stroke of the brake operating member exceeds the ineffective stroke, increases the wheel cylinder pressure by performing raising of the amount of differential pressure formed by the differential pressure control valve by a predetermined raising amount with respect to the amount of differential pressure during the ineffective stroke.

A vehicle brake device comprises a hydraulic brake device, a regeneration brake device and a brake control device. The brake control device further includes a final value calculating device for calculating the target braking force FR at the time when an ABS control period ended and the cooperative control device restarted the operation to be as a regeneration allowing braking force FH, when the anti-lock brake control device has operated for the ABS control period within one braking operation period where the brake operating member is continuously operated and a regeneration allowing device operable after the ABS control period ended within the one braking operation period and after the cooperative control device restarted the operation and allowing the generation of the regeneration braking force FE only when the target braking force is less than a value of the regeneration allowing braking force FH.

Vehicle brake device

In a vehicle brake device, a port is provided at a hydraulic chamber of a master cylinder and communicates with a reservoir tank. A piston movable in the hydraulic chamber for closing the port is provided with at least one piston-side port that faces on the port when at a first position. When a brake pedal is stepped on from a retracted state to move the piston from the first position to a second position spaced from the first position by a predetermined distance, the hydraulic chamber is blocked from the communication with the reservoir tank. The at least one piston-side port is provided therein with an orifice, so that the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic chamber is raised at the time of a quick stepping of the brake pedal but is allowed to flow to the reservoir tank without being raised at the time of a non-quick stepping.

A brake control device for a vehicle includes: a hydraulic brake device including a master cylinder, a wheel cylinder, a differential pressure control valve, and a pump; and a differential pressure control unit that operates the pump and transmits a differential pressure instructing output to the differential pressure control valve to perform a differential pressure control such that a differential pressure is generated; wherein the differential pressure control unit includes a correcting unit, wherein the correcting unit calculates a differential pressure instructing correction amount, based on an increased amount of the differential pressure which is generated by the differential pressure control valve when the increased amount of the differential pressure during the differential pressure control and then corrects the differential pressure instructing output based on the differential pressure instructing correction amount such that the differential pressure instructing output becomes larger than the increased amount of the differential pressure.

Vehicle brake system comprises a hydraulic brake device, a regenerative brake device to drive wheels driven by a generator-motor and a brake control device for cooperatively controlling the hydraulic brake force and the regenerative brake force in response to an operation amount of a brake operation member. This vehicle brake system further includes a differential amount calculating portion calculating a differential amount by subtracting a regeneration execution brake force obtained by execution of the generator-motor from a regeneration request brake force, a regenerative range judging portion for judging whether the regeneration request brake force is within a range of a re-generable brake force which is executable by the generator-motor and a hydraulic pressure restricting portion for restricting increase of the hydraulic brake force when the differential amount is a positive value and the regeneration request brake force is within the range of the re-generable brake force.

A brake apparatus includes: a master cylinder generating a master cylinder fluid pressure; a wheel brake device applying a braking force to the wheels; a control fluid pressure generation device including a fluid pressure control valve and a fluid pressure pump; an electric motor driving the fluid pressure pump; a control fluid pressure setting unit setting a control fluid pressure; wherein the control fluid pressure generation device rotates the electric motor to circulate a brake fluid and applies a control current to the fluid pressure control valve to thus generate the control fluid pressure in the fluid pressure control valve, and a target rotation number setting unit configured to calculate a pump-necessary discharge flow rate and a brake fluid amount, and set a target rotation number of the electric motor based on the pump-necessary discharge flow rate.

A vehicle that improves the accuracy of wheel stopping determination including a stopping determination unit that calculates stopping determination time by multiplying the pulse width of a wheel speed pulse immediately before a non-output time, for which no wheel speed pulse is output from a wheel speed sensor, by 2+1, or a corrected time which is corrected on the basis of the stopping determination time is set as a threshold value for determining stopping of wheels. Thus, the time corresponding to the pulse width of the wheel speed pulse takes into consideration the deceleration and traveling distance of the vehicle, thereby obtaining an optimum threshold value for determining the stopping of the wheels.

To make a brake device generate a required braking force, a hydraulic control section switches, according to the relative magnitude between the required braking force and a braking force exerted by braking operation, between drive of a pump motor and non-drive of the pump motor and a master cut valve reduces the flow of brake fluid in the direction to a master cylinder. By this, a wheel cylinder maintains hydraulic pressure capable of generating the required braking force. As a result, the pump motor is not necessarily always driven when the required braking force is generated, and the operating time period of the pump motor is reduced. As a result, a load on the pump motor is reduced to enhance durability of the pump motor.

An ECU designates a value of a variation 'V' based on at least one of information about driver's operation, a velocity, and a road surface gradient when an actual velocity 'V' is higher than a target velocity, sets a value of a variation &#x201c;V&#x201d; based on the designated value of the variation &#x201c;V&#x201d; and the target velocity, adjusts the velocity of the vehicle to the velocity of the set value of the variation &#x201c;V&#x201d;, and determines whether the actual velocity &#x201c;V&#x201d; after the adjustment is a value not greater than the value of the variation &#x201c;V&#x201d;. Then, the ECU converges the velocity of the vehicle to the target velocity after it has been determined that the actual velocity &#x201c;V&#x201d; after the adjustment is a value not greater than the value of the variation &#x201c;V&#x201d;.
