A control apparatus for an electric vehicle that includes (i) an electric motor, (ii) a high-low switching device configured to establish a high gear position or a low gear position, (iii) a center differential configured to transmit rotation outputted from the high-low switching device, to the front and rear wheels, while allowing differential rotation between the front and rear wheels, and (iv) a high-low selection device configured to select the high gear position or low gear position that is to be established in the high-low switching device. The control apparatus includes a creep control portion configured to execute a creep control for generating a creep torque during stop of the vehicle. The creep control portion executes a creep cut for stopping the creep control under a predetermined constant condition, and stops the execution of the creep cut when the low gear position is selected during execution of the creep cut.

Control apparatus for electric vehicle

An ECU is connected to a multi-system shift sensor detecting a shift lever position in a shift direction associated with detection of the R position, and to a multi-system select sensor detecting a shift lever position in a select direction not associated with detection of the R position. When only one or more, but not all, of sensors in the select sensor are abnormal, the ECU controls the shift range according to the shift position detected based on the remaining proper sensor. When only one or more of sensors in the shift sensor are abnormal, the ECU maintains the current range until an operation of a shift lever is detected, and switches the shift range to the N range at the point of time of detecting an operation of the shift lever.

Vehicle control device

A shift control device is provided for a vehicle of shift-by-wire type having shift operation detecting means electrically detecting a shift operation of a driver, range switching means switching a shift range in response to the shift operation of the driver, failure detecting means detecting a failure in a shift operation detection executed by the shift operation detecting means, and vehicle state detecting means detecting a vehicle state upon detection of the failure in the shift operation detection, the range switching means being switched to a fail-safe mode, when the shift operation detection is recovered from a failed state to a normal state and the range switching means is switched from the fail-safe mode to a normal control mode, a recovery condition for determining switching of the fail-safe mode to the normal control mode being altered depending on the vehicle state.

Method and apparatus for concentrating solution

An apparatus for analyzing air/fuel ratio sensor characteristics makes it possible to perform highly accurate analysis of the characteristics of an air/fuel ratio sensor to be measured. The apparatus comprises a sensor attachment means in which is mounted an air/fuel ratio sensor to be measured; a gas regulation means for supplying to the sensor attachment means a gas that is substantially equivalent to components of exhaust gases from an engine, or some components thereof; a control means for comparing an output from the air/fuel ratio sensor to be measured mounted in the sensor attachment means and an output from a reference stoichiometric air/fuel ratio sensor at the stoichiometric air/fuel ratio of the engine, to obtain a deviation therebetween and to obtain from a history of this deviation over time the composition and flow rate of gases to be controlled to compensate for this deviation, and issuing appropriate instructions to the gas regulation means; and an air/ratio measurement means for measuring a time average of the thus controlled air/fuel ratio.

Apparatus for analyzing air/fuel ratio sensor characteristics

A force transducer for detecting compression. The force transducer comprises an Si single crystal so formed as to have a crystal face of {110} as the surface to which compression is applied; a first pair of opposing electrodes provided on the Si single crystal in the direction having an angle of 45 degrees with the direction of &lt;001&gt; of the Si single crystal and a second pair of opposing electrodes provided on the Si single crystal in the direction having an angle of 45 degrees with the direction of &lt;110&gt; of the Si single crystal; a seat which is bonded to the crystal face of {110} of the Si single crystal and which transmits the compression substantially uniformly to the crystal face; and a base which is bonded to the surface of the Si single crystal opposite to the surface bonded with the seat and which supports the Si single crystal. The force transducer has a simple structure as a whole and is capable of detecting compression with accuracy.
