It is an object of the present invention to provide a notification control apparatus and a notification control method capable of previously notifying a passenger of a change of a motion of a vehicle travelling automatically. A notification control apparatus according to the present invention includes: a processor to execute a program; and a memory to store the program which, when executed by the processor, performs processes of, acquiring travel condition information which is information indicating a future travel condition of the vehicle, generating a sound image pattern based on the travel condition information, and generating a notification sound in accordance with the sound image pattern and, controlling the output of the notification sound, wherein the travel condition information includes information of a future course of the vehicle, and when the course is changed, the sound image pattern in accordance with the course being changed is generated.

A dual component mixing system for coating comprises a first tank containing a main agent, a second tank containing a hardening agent diluted with thinner, a mixer which mixes the main agent and the hardening agent and supplies the mixture to a manually operated coating gun, a main agent line connecting the mixer and the first tank, a hardening agent line connecting the mixer and the second tank, a flow meter disposed within the main agent line, a flow meter and a flow regulating valve disposed within the hardening agent line, and a feedback control device which receives signals from the flow meters and controls the flow regulating valve so that the amount of hardening agent is a predetermined ratio with respect to the amount of main agent. The dual component mixing system according to the present invention provides an adequate control of the main agent/hardening agent ratio regardless of the differences among individuals manipulating the coating gun.

A flying head slider for use in a hard disk drive includes a slider body having pair of parallel slider rails spaced from each other with a slider groove defined therebetween. A magnetic head is supported on one of the slider rails. The slider body also has a pair of control grooves disposed on one side of the slider rails, respectively, and extending therealong. The control grooves are shallower than the slider groove. The flying head slider floats off the surface of a hard disk stably by a low height over an entire disk surface range.

A magnetic tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus which comprises a tape cassette mounting portion and a rotary head portion which are relatively movable toward to and separating from each other, the rotary head portion being provided with a recording/reproducing head which is adapted to project in the radial direction due to the centrifugal force of the rotation of the head, and the rotary head portion can approach relatively toward the tape cassette mounting portion on which the tape cassette is mounted, and the recording/reproducing head being projected by the centrifugal force contacts with the magnetic tape running within the tape cassette. A generally square disk cartridge for a recording disk includes at least one air filter in a corner of the cartridge and a circular rib adjacent the disk and between the disk and the filter. The cartridge may also include a radial rib connected to the circular rib to enhance air flow to the filter. Air filters may be located in each of the corners of the cartridge with associated circular and radial ribs to induce air flow to each.

The slide member contains a surface on which a sheet material travels; the surface being composed of a material containing crystals composed predominantly of Si having a size of not larger than 80 microns; the crystals being projected by approximately 0.5 to 3 microns from the surface area of the material and the Si content being in the range from the eutectic range to approximately 30% by weight. The material is a solid solution or a eutectic material containing aluminum as a major component and the crystals composed predominantly of Si. The area where the Si crystals are projected is provided concurrently with an area where the surface is planished or treated so as to give a low coefficient of surface roughness. The slide member permits a decrease in a coefficient of friction on the surface on which the tape is travelling so that it can maintain its initial conditions for a longer period of time than conventional ones. It also possesses a remarkably high resistance to abrasion so that a pot life of the slide member is lengthened without causing the tape to deviate or depart from the original position on a tape guide or lead. Problems encountered with respect to the rubbing-off of magnetic powders from the tape can also be solved with sounds resulting from an adhesion of the tape to the slide member prevented in an efficient manner.
